Chapter 12.

The guys and Shay are all leaving for the tour today. It's been two weeks since Taddie, Shay, and I talked about her going with them. They are going to be gone for about two and a half months. So I'll be home alone for that long. Should be a lot of fun. I roll my eyes and David starts talking to me.

'Uh huh sure. Totally.' I say.

I feel bad for not listening to him but I can not stop thinking about what I will be doing and how I'll be alone. I mean maybe Brenton could come over? Maybe my cousin? That's the problem with not having friends. When people leave for a few months you need someone to talk to. I don't know I need to stop overthinking. It will all be okay right? Ehh whatever. Taddie walks over to me and hugs me.

'You know I'll miss you right, and if you need anything just call me. Alright?' He says.

'Yeah.' I say rolling my eyes.

'Look, I have to go. I love you babe I'll text you whenever I can.'

'Okay. Bye have a good time.' I say.

They all get into the car after I say goodbye to David, Andy, Benn, Hayden, Brandon, and Shay. They pull away and I can't stop thinking about it all. Okay so I have work tomorrow and it's only 2 in the afternoon. I talked to my cousin about David working there too and he is super excited about it. I mean when they come back from tour and all he can work there. I go into the house and check my phone. I grab my headphones and start listening to music. Two months and a half isn't that long. Right? I think since I can, I'm going to sleep for a while.

I wake up and turn my music off. The last songs playing were the Johnny Trilogy. I turn my phone off and look at the time. 5 o'clock. Okay. So I go to work at 3 o'clock today. So I should probably sleep until 10? Ehh that will work. I can't believe they've been gone for a week now! Seems like they left yesterday. I start going through my phone an see that I have two new texts. I look at them and see they are both from Brandon.

"Hey Kat. Look, I need to tell you something."

Then the other said.

"You're probably asleep. Sorry. Text me when you can!!"

I quickly text him back and wait for a response. While I'm waiting I grab a drink and text Brenton to see if he wants to come over.

" So. Okay. Anything happening?"

"Yeah. Two actually. But I can't tell you one of them!"

"I hate you Brandon. What's the other?"

"Brent isn't talking to anyone. He's just going on stage performing and going back to the bunk to sleep."

"Are you serious?!"

Just as I send that text I get one back from Brenton and he says he can come over.

"Yes. Would I lie to you?" Brandon says.

"I hope not. But please make sure he's okay alright?"

"Sure. I have to go now. Love ya!"

"Love you too." I say back.

I sit up from my bed and just sit there thinking. After a while I here a knock on the door. I quickly get up and go to the door. It's Brenton. He comes in and he asks what we will do. I suggest watch tv or listen to music or something. We start watching tv and sit down on the couch.

'What time you have to go to work?' I ask.

'3. You?' he asks.

'Same. I need to take a shower. Time is it?' I ask.
