Chapter 5.

'You ready to go yet? I wanna get there before they close. I need my ice cream man!' I say.

'Im almost ready just let me fix my hair.'

'Okay I'm ready.'

'Okay. I'll drive.'

We start walking out of the building and into the parking lot. We both get into the car and I start playing music because why not? I'm honestly so happy still that he is okay. But I don't know where everyone else is. They are all probably busy or something. Anyways now we are off to get ice cream! Which always helps anything. He is fine and that's all that matters right now. We pull into the ice cream place and walk into the shop. Alex goes to order for both of us and I go find a seat for two.

'Thanks for the ice cream.' I say.

'No problem. So what's been going on while I was out?'

'Uh not much really. Warped is over. Taddie called and asked to go to a movie I said no and told him why. Umm nothing other then those two things.'

'So you turned down Taddie for me?' he says smiling.

'Psh. Nooo. I uhh. Yeah.."

'Well thank you.'

'No problem. So what were you dreaming about while you were out?'

'Umm nothing really. Mainly just playing shows and stuff.'

'Cool."

'Yeah. Is your ice cream good?'

'Yeah why?' I ask.

'You kinda got some on your chin.'

'Oh crap. Did I get it off?'

'Haha no.'

'Now?'

'No. I got it.' He reaches over and wisp it off my chin.

Oh my god. Woah okay wow. Umm what's happening. Does he like me? Noo he doesn't. He can't. No one ever likes me back! I'm Katelynn. It's impossible.

'Thanks.' I say.

'Yeah. Uh so how are you?' he asks.

'I'm good. You?'

'I'm-I'm good.'

'That's good.'

'Yeah it's -' I look at my phone '11pm. I think I should get home and sleep. I'll drop you off at home.' I say.

'Alright. Let's go.'

We start walking into the parking lot and we get into the car.

'Umm where is your house exactly?' I say.

'Three blocks down at the end of the street.'

'Okay.'

We start driving to his house while he puts on music. It's about a 3 minute drive and he lives in a cool neighborhood!

'Here we are!' I say

'Yeah.'

'Well I had a nice time. Thanks for going to ice cream. We should do it again sometime.'

'Yeah. We should. Oh and thanks for staying with me while everyone else went partying. Your a cool kid.'

'No problem it was nothing.'

'I have to ask you something Katelynn.'

'Shoot.'

'Would you like to go-'
