A Dogs Bite (Dotsuku x Reader)

The Bomb

*Peeps out from behind a door* H-Hey guys what brings you here? I thought this story would have honestly been long abandoned but surprisingly people are enjoying it and I don't want to leave this off at a cliff hanger (Btw it was scary trying to find a  bomb with some sort of anime art to it. I thought the FBI would be out for me lol) So I'm back to  try and finish this without letting anyone down soooo lets get this bread.

(Y/n's POV)

"Before we discuss the plan I think its a good idea to head out of the park, who knows what attention could have been caught by dragon shooting that ice into the air like that." I brought up to Dotsuku causing him to nod. "Can you check if there is anyone near the rear entrance of the park by chance?" Dotsuku asked me. I closed my eyes and connected with a nearby pigeon. "Yeah we should be good to head back there" I answered. I was about to open my eyes but something caught my attention, Rat's corpse was fighting Ox on the outskirts of the front entrance of the park. "Dotsu we need to head to back and fast." I said as I stood up and grabbed my Cockscomb. He looked at me a little confused before sniffing the air and growling. "Blood... Someone's nearby huh?" He asked as he stood up, earning a nod from me. We quickly started to retreat toward the back of the park, hearing metal clashing in the distance. "It's Ox fighting with Rat's corpse. Now the better question is where is Rabbit. Last thing we need is him jumping out of nowhere." I said as the image of that psychopath's face leaping out from a tree flashed through my head causing my head to snap towards the trees we were passing. Dotsuku noticed this and looked over towards the trees as well. "Did you see someone?" He asked quickly as he reached for his knife. "N-No just a little paranoid is all." I responded. Soon enough when the clashing sounded pretty far we stopped and hid behind a few trees. I noticed that the sky was getting slightly brighter. "We need to hurry and finish this" I stated. "Yeah so what's the plan since time is ticking." Dotsuku asked as he crouched down. "Well the plan all really relies on chance at this point. We can't afford to let Ox be killed by Rabbit, that would ensure no chance in victory with that type of power at his disposal so we would have to kill them at the same time only one problem with that." I stated. "We don't exactly know where Rabbit is right?" Dotsuku questioned, earning a nod from me. "Exactly, if Ox can manage to disarm Rat then he would be able to at least draw out Rabbit to try and finish him off himself." I pondered for a moment as I looked down at the bomb in my hand. "Hey... something that smells gross just entered the park, can you get eyes on it?" Dotsuku asked me. I nodded and closed my eyes, unfortunately a bird flew right passed the creature causing me to gasp and stumble on to the grass. It looked like a creature composed of a bunch of different body parts but what stood out was the big white cotton tail and red eyes to follow on on the head. "S-So rabbit was killed..." I stuttered out. "That's awesome so whats th-" "By himself so he... he's some creature with a bunch of body parts attached to himself... oh god the jaws missing h-his head isn't even fully on himself its on his shoulder..." I flinched back when i saw the sword slash at the bird and killed it causing me to raise my arms in defense. Dotsuku pulled me into and embrace to calm me down. My heart was racing from that sight. "He's a monster now... Ox is about to fight him I... I think we should head over maybe we'll find an opening to finish this..." I was still a little shook from what i had just witnessed. It took me a moment to register what was happening. I didn't even noticed i was shaking in Dotsuku's hold. I wrapped my arms around him and let out a shaky sigh. "Let's get this over with" I said as I pulled back from the embrace. Dotsuku dawned his signature smug grin before standing up and offering me his hand. I gladly took it and smiled as I got back up on my feet and grabbed my Cockscomb. We began to run towards the center of the park where the clashing was still going on. Dotsuku pulled me behind a tree suddenly which cause me to jump a bit. I was about to question his motives till I noticed that Rabbit had begun combat with Ox and Rats body was minced... I really hope to never experience that. Ox seemed like he had the upper hand on Rabbit when he cut off his legs and next the arm/blades that Rabbit had. All seemed good, until suddenly Monkey's corpse emerged from Rabbits body and tackled Ox to the floor, disarming him. "So that's where you went Monkey..." I whispered sadly. Dotsuku rubbed my shoulder gently in an attempt to comfort me. I noticed that Rabbits body was trying to reform and Monkey head butted  Ox. I guess he was planning on killing himself at that moment. "This is our chance Dotsuku lets go."  I said as I stood up with the bomb in hand. I stepped from behind a tree and walked towards the three with Dotsuku next to me. Both Monkey and Ox looked over at us causing me to make eye contact with monkey. 'Don't worry I'll save you soon enough Monkey' I thought as a smile graced my face. I looked over to the monster trying to reform. Seems like as long as it is focused on trying to regenerate it wont be able to give any orders out. "(Y/n), Zodiac of the Chicken, Killing by Pecking" I stated as I approached Ox and Monkey. "Dotsuku, Zodiac of the Dog, Killing by Biting." Dotsuku stated after me. "If it makes you feel any better... The only reason this worked out for us is because of the bomb that we found over on sheep's body. So the thanks would really go towards Tiger..." I said as i tried to give a comforting smile towards Ox. He smiled a bit and nodded before Dotsuku spoke up. "So any  last words before we do this?" He asked. Ox closed his eyes for a moment before shaking his head. "No, if anything I would prefer to not be a puppet to that monster over there." He stated before opening his eyes again. "Ushii: Warrior of the Ox, Killing Systematically" He said before I placed the bomb down next to them ad activated the timer. "(Y/n) We need to get far from here before that thing blows." Dotsuku said as we started walking away. I nodded and we broke into a mad sprint away from the group. A good twenty seconds went by before a huge explosion went off causing warm gusts of wind to strongly push both me and Dotsuku forward, causing us to stumble over a hill. I shriek a bit before Dotsuku pulled me into his arms as we slid down the hill. My eyes were shut tight as we slid down. Dotsuku  on the other hand seemed to be enduring the slide down for me. When we reached the bottom of the hill I opened my eyes to see Dotsuku with smiling a bit and at the same time wincing in pain. "Oh my god are you okay Dotsu? Y-You didn't have to do that ya know?" I questioned as i hugged him tightly, earning a grunt from him then a chuckle. "It wasn't that bad if anything the cloak is what took the brunt of the grass." He stated as he wrapped his arms around me. It's over... finally... After a while i pulled back from the embrace with a bright smile on my face. "We won Dotsu it's finally over!" I shouted with joy causing him to laugh. "Yeah lets go collect those crystals before the suns up." He reminded me. 'Oh shit I forgot about the poison' I thought in a panic. We quickly got up and scurried back to the previous area only to see a crater with the area being charred along with the trees from the explosion. Surprisingly the gems were still intact. We gathered them together and smiled. At that moment a car honked from the entrance of the park. We ran over towards the sound and saw a black limo parked with the chauffeur rolling the window down. "Mrs (Y/n), Mr Dotsuku, Mr Duodecuple has instructed me to come and bring you to the tower so we can get you both an antidote." He stated. I nodded as Dotsuku opened the door for me and gestured for me to enter first. "Oh what a gentleman" I said as I batted my eyes, causing him to blush a bit and scratch his head before entering the limo. I leaned onto his shoulder, which made him wrap is arm around my shoulder. The scenery outside was relaxing to where i eventually dozed off...

Finally this nightmare is over...

(And now to hope i don't get speared by anybody for just vanishing out of nowhere :D no bus seriously thank you for everyone still supporting me through out this writers block. I took me a hot while of thinking, jamming out to Thank u Next, and more thinking to figure out how to go along with the ending for the actual war. I do plan to write one final chapter and calling it an end for this story. Maybe I'll go back to finish the Roy Koopa x reader story or Blue exorcist? Btw should I just write Reader x Somebody stories? It seems like people like those more than Oc stories, which i understand lol. Anywho my sleep schedule is all sorts of fucked up now lol I'm now a night owl till like 1300 (Which is 1pm for those who don't know military time) anyways I truly do hope you all enjoyed this story till next time!)
