"Here," Klaus said, handing me a vile of his blood. He looked over at his brother, who was finally calmed down. He was sitting by himself on one of the church benches. "Give this to him. You and him probably have a lot to talk about. You and him shared a different bond than you share with me or Kol or even Marcel."

I flashed a sad smile, taking the vile. I walked towards Elijah tentatively. I sat down next to him, and held the vile out. He looked at it, and then down at his lap.

"There's enough here to cure Antoinette," I said.

He grabbed it without looking me in the eyes.

"If what you really want is to let all of us go and be with her, create a new future, a new life, then you should go to her," I told him, feeling tears starting to build.

He said nothing, looking off and sniffling tears. I leaned my head onto his arm.

"I am so sorry, Lilah Rae," he told me. "For leaving you."

"I know."

"And for Hayley."

"I know."

There was a moment of silence, and he asked, "Why didn't you tell me you knew me when you came to France?"

"Because you seemed happy," I told him. "As much as it hurt to have you gone, for you to not have even said goodbye to me before erasing yourself and your memories, it comforted me to see you happy."

"I'm sure you have questions," he said.

I nodded. "But they can wait. Right now, you need to go save Antoinette. She doesn't have much time."

With that, I stood up and made my way out of the church.

"Lilah," he called, and I turned around.

When I looked at him, he looked at me with a tear streaked face, and opened his mouth to say something. He paused, and I nodded, telling him I understood what he wanted to say. He nodded back, and I headed out of the church.

Things were going to change, especially with the fact that Hope now had the Hallow's power inside of her again. I was scared for what it would do to her. I was scared of what it would do to this family.

"The curse that plagued our family for seven years has taken its toll on all of us. On our city, on our home, on our family. The consequences of being together were grave, but today, thanks to you, we celebrate a new beginning," Klaus said to Hope the next day at breakfast.

There was an assortment of food upon the table.

"One in which we have the freedom to stand side by side, and whatever trials may come, we will face them together, as a family. Always and forever."

He raised his orange juice to this, as did we. Freya, Klaus, and I eyed Hope for any signs of things going wrong with her. The Hallow was inside of her.

"Will you please pass the beignets?" she asked.

"Of course," Freya replied, handing them over to her.

"So, Rebekah will be back in a few days. She's just tying up some loose ends oversees."

"It'll be nice to have her here," Hope said.

"It'll be good to have all of us under one roof again," Freya said softly.

Footsteps could be heard from upstairs, and Elijah walked in. He was wearing his normal suit, something I hadn't seen on him in forever. I smiled at the sight, but I could feel Hope's rage from my seat across the table from her, next to Freya.
