Klaus had compelled Freya and Keelin an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. There was a live band, it was outdoors, and looked amazing. Everyone was dressed to look their best, because Freya Mikaelson only deserved the best.
I walked towards Davina and Marcel as they discussed Declan.
Davina told Marcel, "How about letting him go? And why doesn't Declan get to know about what's going on around here?"
"Because he's hell-bent on riling up the humans," Marcel replied.
"It must run in his family's genes," I commented, sipping on my glass of champagne. Davina laughed at my comment, and Marcel gave me a stern look.
"It is the last thing we need right now."
"Seriously, Marcel. It never ends, no battle's ever won here," Davina said, shaking her head and looking to me for support. I nodded my head, pointing at her as I continued to drink my alcohol, telling Marcel silently that I agreed with the witch.
"Guys, New Orleans has been at war with itself since before I was born. It's not gonna go all kumbaya just because we want it to."
I put an arm around his shoulder, and said, "Right now, Celly, the only thing we need is to enjoy today. All the Mikaelson family in one place without trying to kill one another? Aunt Freya finally getting married?"
He glared at me for the nickname.
I turned to Davina, wrapped my arms around her as well. "And Davina not out to kill my Dad."
She turned her head to the side, looking at me oddly. "Why would I be trying to kill your dad? Who's your dad?"
"Did you finally tell him?" Marcel asked, and I nodded, and he looked around. "Looks like you're wrong on one thing, the entire Mikaelson family is not in one place. Your father is nowhere to be seen."
Davina kept looking at us oddly when Josh came to join us. I smiled, wrapping my arms around him. He hugged me back tightly. I hadn't seen him since the bar.
"Marcel told me you almost died when I was off flirting," he mumbled into my hair, and Davina grabbed the both of us, a smile on her face as she was still confused.
"Can someone tell me what I'm missing here?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest, looking at me expectantly.
"Missing what?" Josh asked, looking at us oddly.
"Lilah was just about to tell me who her father is," Davina added.
Josh furrowed his eyebrows, looking at me suspiciously as well.
"Oh, so Davina gets to know about your mysterious father before I get to even know you have a mysterious father?" he asked, pouting. "And here I thought I was the best friend."
"That's Hope," Davina and I said together.
"And here I thought I was the second best friend," he corrected himself.
I looked to Marcel, who put his hands up. "This is all you, L. Have fun."
I looked at Davina, scared how she might take this considering he had gotten her killed before.
"Um..." I said, fiddling with my fingertips. "Hi. I'm Lilah Mikaelson, and my dad's name is Elijah."
Jaws dropped, and then they both squinted while looking at me.
"I'm assuming your mom was really pretty because there's no way in Hell you got your looks from Elijah," she said, laughing, and I was relieved she wasn't upset or anything.
