You woke up with light streaming in through your window, 'I guess I forgot to close the curtains last night,' you were so exhausted after going to the fair with ji-won that, you changed into your pajamas and fell asleep immediately.
You turned to your side and grabbed your phone, you looked at the time to see it was almost noon, ji-won had told you she'd be at your house by one at the earliest.
You made no effort to get ready, you just cleaned up your kitchen counter and couch, ji-won had stayed over enough times to know how much of a mess you were.
As if on cue the doorbell goes of as you put away the last stray sock you found, though it had become a habit for you to wear mismatched socks, it had initially started because you constantly lost or misplaced one half of the pair, you had grown to like wearing odd socks so the habit continued.
You opened the door to find ji-won holding her bags, dressed somewhat presentably in sweatpants and a huge hoodie, the hoodie looked familiar, you had seen it somewhere before, but you knew it was definitely not hers, in fact you were sure she had it with her yesterday at the fair, but you hadn't seen it before then, not even in her car, which was kept very neat and organized.
"Ji-won, where did you get that hoodie? It looks really familiar, but I know for a fact that it isn't yours," you asked her, sounding somewhat puzzled.
"Well hi to you too bestie," she said sarcastically.
You laughed a little, "oh right come in your majesty," you said bowing dramatically, taking her bags out of her hands.
She shook her head at you, now come on, " I have to tell you about what happened yesterday!"
Still confused, you asked her, "what about the hoodie though?"
"Patients young grasshopper, You'll understand soon," she spoke jokingly.
"Fine, let's go sit in my room, and get this conversation started.
The two of you walked up to your room, you looked at your unmade bed, tons of pillows and blankets thrown everywhere, you knew ji-won wouldn't mind a little mess, but your room was a disaster.
"Y/N, why the heck is your room such a mess, I helped you clean it out literally last week," she spoke with an exasperated tone in her voice.
I just woke up and realized you were coming over at one so I didn't make my bed," you tried justifying.
"Anyway, I don't care how messy your room is but I just really need to tell you this, so put all your pillows and blankets on the bed quickly and lets get on with the story."
You looked at her in surprise, ji-won generally liked everything to be organized and in its place. When you had been to her home, not a single thing was out of its place, you on the other hand, not so much, you could almost never find anything.
She started pulling the dark blue sheets of your bed and straightening out the fabric, while you started grabbing the pillows and blankets that were, for some reason, all over the floor. You soon finished up and your bed finally looked okay to sit on and talk
Now that the two of you were sat on the bed, cuddled into your fluffy blankets, you were ready to talk.
"So, I feel like I should start of by explaining my soulmate situation, so I got one of the basic soulmate connections. I have a tattoo of a carnation on my arm," you had of course seen the tattoo of the flower buds on her arm, entwined with a letter F in fancy script, it was quite hard too miss, and you had assumed that it was her soulmate connection but you hadn't wanted to say anything about it. She continues speaking as you examine the beautiful tattoo on her arm, "the flower blooms when my soulmate is around, and when it does, I feel a little burning sensation, but it's a pleasant one. When I touch the flower, I can smell his favorite scent, that's the special thing with my connection."
