Chapter 5

And this for the phone call

You woke up the next morning, laying on the couch, surrounded by what used to be your pillow fort.

You stood up, stretching, and looked around, you noticed that ji-won wasn't here and the empty wrappers of the snacks the two of you had feasted on the night before were cleaned up.

You thought to your self, 'Ji-won probably had an early shift at the cafe today,' she often took early shifts on weekends, as well as the evening shifts.

You ambled to the kitchen, going to make yourself a bowl of cereal, when you noticed a sticky note left on the kitchen counter.

'Hey Y/N, I had to get going early today, but I cleaned up the snacks and things from yesterday, I know for a fact you probably won't do it.
Anyway remember to call your mom and get your cousins phone number.

You smiled at your best friends sweet gesture, glad that you had someone like her in your life, you quickly grabbed your breakfast and went to sit on the couch.

You sat down, phone in hand, instead of calling your mother like you had intended you texted ji-won instead, deciding to thank her for her help.

'Hey ji-wonie, thanks for the help this morning!'
'I have no idea what I'd do with out you'

'Honestly I have no idea what you'd do without me either'
Anyway I'll see you during the evening shift today right?

'HEY!'
'I feel like I should be offended by that statement.....'
'And yah of course you will.'
'Anyway imma go call my mother now,'
'See ya later ji-won'
'Byee!'

'Bye Y/N, my breaks coming to an end anyways .'
'I'll see ya later!'
'Seen'

You speedily finished eating the rest of your now soggy cereal, and went to call your mom.

The phone rang for a couple minutes before your mother answered your call.

'Oh Y/N, you finally called, it's been way too long,' was the first thing your mother said to you.

You rolled your eyes, though you were actually smiling, 'Mom it's literally been a week since I called you last, Anyways I needed to ask you something.'

'Yes what is it Y/N,' your mother asked, waiting for your question.

'I was wondering what lixs number was, you said he moved to Seoul right?'

Your mother gave you your cousins phone number, and the two of you continued talking for awhile, discussing about school and how you were doing on your own.

Soon after that you finished up what little work you had to do as well as cleaned up your apartment.

Before you had to go get ready to go to the cafe you quickly sent your cousin, felix a text, telling him that it was you his cousin and that you were hoping to meet him soon.

You went and got dressed not expecting felix to reply anytime soon, but your phone going of proved you wrong.

Felix spammed you with messages, much like what ji-won usually did, he was asking how you were and when the two of you could you meet.

"We can meet any time your free, we can meet at the cafe I work at!"
"It's been way to long lix, I've missed talking to you

"Sure, how about we meet next week, and text me the address of the cafe so I know where you work."
"I've missed talking to you as well Y/N/N."

"I need to go to work soon so let's talk later lix."
"Byee, I'll text you the address soon,"

"Alright, bye Y/N"
"It was nice talking to you again,"

You walked to the cafe, excited to tell ji-won, that you had gotten Felix's phone number and that the two of you would be meeting next week.

You spent the rest of the day at the cafe,  with ji-won, who was both nervous and excited by the idea of having a chance at meeting her soulmate.

This is another filler chapter :( I know I said that the next chapter would be more interesting but I just needed to get all of this out of the way...... I promise it'll get more interesting soon!
