Chapter 4

All you could do was stare at her, "he just gave it to you and left?" You asked gesturing to her hoodie.

All ji-won did was nod, "can I see the logo, it seems really familiar," she quickly slipped of the hoodie, revealing her light pink pajama shirt underneath.

You took the piece of clothing into your hands inspecting the logo on the back, you had seen it some where before you just couldn't place your finger on it.

Ji-won waited patiently while you examined the white logo that stood out against the dark navy blue of the hoodie, and it then suddenly dawned on you that your mother was showing you something about this school because your cousin had ended up moving back to Korea, and was attending this college.

"Oh! My cousin goes to this college, my mom was talking about him and I saw it when she was showing me something! Maybe we could meet up with him, he might know your soulmate."

you kept rambling on excitedly, until ji-won spoke up, voicing out her thoughts, "Well Y/N, it's probably a pretty big college, the chances of your cousin knowing my soulmate would be quite small."

You understood why she was saying this and you agreed, but you still felt like it was worth a shot, you had a good feeling about this idea.

"You are right, but there is still a chance that he does know your soulmate, plus I haven't seen my cousin in forever," ji-won nodded along, agreeing to give your idea a chance.

"Now tell me again what did he look like, we need to tell my cousin right," you brought out a notebook and a pen from your bedside table, the notebook where you record your late night thoughts and ideas, you waited for ji-won to start describing him.

"Well he has really nice blond hair, that kinda swoops in front of his face, but it doesn't cover his eyes, he has really cute cheeks and the most adorable freckles, oh and his lips are so pink and beautiful," she went on describing her soulmate, her face turning slightly pink as she did so, while you wrote down everything she said.

Her description seemed pretty familiar to you, you didn't know why but it did.

You ignored the feeling and went back to your present conversation, "so, what now?"

"You had something to tell me as well right?"

Ji-wons words reminded you of yesterday's situation, "oh, yah! I wanted to tell you something to do with my soulmate as well!"

You went on to explain your soulmate connection, and how you've spoken to him and how comforting his heart beat is to you. Hi-won nodded along, smiling over how happy and excited you get when talking about your soulmate.

After going on about chans and your connection, You went on to explain what happened after she had left you, and the necklace warming up suddenly and how you prioritized your melting vanilla ice cream over your soulmate, through out this whole story she just stared at you, disbelief etched on her face.

"YOU DIDN'T GO AFTER HIM BECAUSE OF YOUR FOOD," she practically yelled, "I swear Y/N you're really something special."

You nervously chuckled, if you were being honest, your ice cream wasn't the only reason behind not going after chan when you had the chance, you were afraid, afraid that he would reject you after seeing you, because you weren't up to his expectations, you were terrified by that thought, the thought of him not liking you.

You quickly changed the topic, "oh ji-won, please remind me to call my mother and ask her for my cousins phone number."

Ji-won just nodded her head and laughed at your attempt to change the topic of the conversation, she still let you get away with it, noticing your obvious discomfort.

"Let's watch a movie," you suddenly suggested out of the blue.

Ji-won agreed enthusiastically, " Let's go get some snacks first!"

So ji-won slipped on the hoodie, while you just slipped on your shoes, knowing that you probably wouldn't run into anyone during your trip.

The two of you went to the small convenience store near by your apartment, and bought tons of snacks and sweets for the long night ahead of you.

When the two of you got back to your apartment, you laid out your snacks and built a little pillow fort and watched movies until the two of you fell asleep.

This was a kinda a filler chapter, I promise the next chapters will definitely be better, I'm sorry this one was so short though.
