Chapter 11

I stood leaned against the door, listening and taking in the information I was hearing. It hurt me too know that she had to suffer through these thoughts and feelings alone, I knew that I'd never leave her, I had never even thought of rejecting her.

I needed to say something, I couldn't leave her with these doubts and fears. I know that Y/N wouldn't want to rush things right away like most soulmates do when they meet, especially because of her fear of rejection, but I was willing to wait for her and take things a little slower. If it meant being with her in the end, I'd do anything.

"Y/N... I know you don't have to believe me but, I promise you that I am telling the truth, I would never ever reject you, I always talk about you too the other boys...well to anyone who'll listen, I'm always talking about how much I want to meet you, how I can't wait to hold you in my arms."

I paused for a moment thinking about how to continue, I couldn't say that I loved her, not yet anyways, I had promised myself just moments before that I'd take things slow, and saying that I was in love with her was the exact opposite.

I took a deep breath before starting again, " I-I've really liked you since the first day I heard your voice, I just want you to know that I'll be here for you the whole time, I'm willing to wait for you Y/N, no matter how long it takes I'll be there, I promise you."

I continued rambling on about how I'd never leave her side, how she could take as long as she needs, how I'm not going to rush her into anything, I didn't stop until I finally heard Y/Ns quiet sniffling coming from inside and the bathroom door clicking open.

You sniffled slightly and unlocked the bathroom door, you heard chans constant rambling come to a stop as the door swung open slowly.

You stepped out the door, your eyes red from crying whilst reliving your memories and thinking of your fears.

At the sight of your disheveled state chan had stepped forward almost as if the boy was going in for a hug, but he stopped himself when he was a few steps away from you, not knowing whether you'd be okay with him holding you.

To the dark haired boys surprise you stepped closer to him and initiated the hug, you quietly mumbled to him, "thank you, thank you so much for this."

A smile settled on chans face at your words, you trusted him and that was all that mattered.

Just as you pulled away from chan, a confused and happy looking felix wandered into the hallway, "looks like the two of you made up before I even got here," he continued as he saw  yours and chans confused faces at his words, "jisung told me that Y/N had locked herself in the bathroom and that chan was trying to talk to her about something when he had left, I thought I'd wait a couple minutes before coming in and trying to talk to Y/N but it looks like everything is fine with the two of you," felix clarified.

"And you need to tell me what all this was about later, now I called ji-won to come take you home, I know you probably aren't in the mood to continue watching the movie," felix informed you.

You nodded in response to felix, while a little bit of disappointment took over chans face at what he had just heard.

The boy was planing on getting to know you better, but he also knew that it would be good for you to go home and get some rest.

"Chan" "Y/N" the two of you started at the same time, "how about you go first," You quickly responded before he could say anything.

"I was just gonna say that we should exchange phone numbers so that we could start texting and maybe decide when we can go on a date?" Chan explained, the latter part of the sentence coming out as more of a question.

You nodded, "I was going to suggest the same thing," you exclaimed shyly as you brought out your phone from your pocket.

The two of you exchanged phone numbers, promising each other that you'd talk soon.

The two of you went back out to the living room, small smiles present on your faces.

Soon enough ji-won came to the apartment to pick you up, knowing that you would probably have a lot to tell her she had brought along a bag filled with her things so that she could stay the night at your place.

As soon as ji-won walked in felix went over and gave her a small peck on the cheek, the two of them talked for a few minutes before ji-won finally decided to leave.

You said a quick goodbye to chan and the other boys before walking out the door with ji-won, happy that you had a soulmate like chan.

I have a question, do you guys want this story to have more chapters that explore yours and chans relationship, and how the two of you get through your fears or do you guys just want one final chapter that's set in the future?
