My eyes opened to see the light of a candle beside me on a side wardrobe. The flame lit the room but otherwise from that, it was dark. I groaned in displeasure. I feel a cramp in my side. "Ooh!!" I tried to lift myself up and failed in the process. I heard the door open. "Hello, Callum. How are you?" A woman with chocolate brown skin came in. Her cat followed suit. "I'm fine. Where am I?" She came in and sat near me. "You're in one of the bedrooms of my bar. I'm Telma." I gasped in surprise and checked my pocket. "Don't worry, I understand. I've read the letter. I was told beforehand that someone is coming. You're my new assisstant. Your town seems to be in a desperate situation." I looked quickly in the other direction. "If you ask me, I think they had it coming." She seemed shocked. "I guess that's why they kicked you out. Happy?" It impressed me though I didn't see the reason behind it. "I guess. Can I get out of bed?" She was considering it. "Uuh, you can but don't hurt yourself. I'd prefer you to completely heal first. I don't want you to die of boredom either."

The choice was obvious. I hate staying in one place. It is irritating. "I'll go downstairs if you don't mind." She shrugged as if she understood. "Nice choice. Saying go away to healthcare is brave. It shows your independence. Now, let me help you." Telma helps me out of bed and guides me downstairs slowly. "Are you ready to meet your saviours?" Wait, what? I'm not some sort of princess. "I remember being carried around." She laughed. "That's our Auru." She opened a door to reveal a bright light and in here, I saw a tall man who looked wise. There was also a young woman who was dressed like a warrior.

Telma helped me into a seat where they were both eager to meet me. Telma sat at the other side. "I'm Auru. It's a pleasure." We shook hands. It was firm." I turned to the black-haired woman. "Ashei. Nice to meet ya." They were both interested. "You come from The Hidden Village then?" Ashei asked. "Yes." They must've read the letter. "Have you heard of The Resistance?" Auru questioned. "Yes. They helped the legendary hero defeat the twilit. Right?" Ashei smiled. "Yes, we helped Link defeat the twilit. You're here because there is a tribe who still remain. You are now a member of The Resistance." She looked at Auru. "Where is Shad?" When he was about to answer, the door opened to reveal a young man with glasses.

"Aaah. I see you've gotten here." Shad was quite the dapper young man. He was dressed formally and was rather handsome. I can learn to become good friends with this guy. He was looking directly at me. "Let's talk." He joined us and sat by me. "Listen, is it OK I check your hand?" I was confused. "What for?" I asked. "I need to confirm something." He rolled my sleeve up. A purple symbol showed on the back of my hand. "As I thought. We've found the Sage of Shadow." My face went white. Ashei laughed. "You looked like you've been up Snowpeak without a coat. We are definitely keeping it a secret, don't you worry." Telma started to explain what the Resistance do. "We study ancient ruins and possible temples. Why? To find something to annihilate our enemy." Loads of questions popped into my head but I thought it'd be best just to ask one. "Why do you need me for this?" Shad breathed in. "We've been searching for an ally. I just found out from the library that, Impa, the original Sage of Shadow who aided the Hero of Time in his quest to defeat the darkness, created the Hidden Village. Telma told me you'd come, so it was just a natural thought that came to me. Will you join us?" Telma then said; "it is for the better and the future of Hyrule. What is your choice?"
