Chapter 11: The Lake?

We came out of the mountain with no problem at all. Hopefully, everything here can return to normal. Kakariko Village can also breathe a sigh of relief. When we got back, Shad ran to me and gave me a big hug. "I was so worried. Anyway, I talked to Renado about the Lake. He said it would most likely be Lake Hylia which is west from here." I nodded. "Great. We have our next destination. Auru has to get back to Hyrule Castle Town though. So we'll have a break there." We waved farewell to Renado and Luda. Beth had a confused and worry look on her face. "What's wrong Beth?" I asked. "I'm worried about Link. What is he looking for?"

I smiled. "Probably what we're all fighting for... something we need in this hour of need. Peace." Beth looked at me and smiled. "When we find him, I want to to ask him something. I want to find out what he wants. I felt his heart. It was like...he was...suffering. Like, there was tragic loss not too long in the past. He felt like he wanted to cry...but there was one emotion that surprised me." Shad tilted his head. "What is that?" Beth had no hesitation in what she was about to say. "Love." That made me think, what if he didn't save me and Shad? We would die. He needed us so we and Link are in this together.

We made it back to Castle Town and into Telma's Bar. Me and Shad walked in together. Ashei was looking at the map. Telma was waiting for us. "So, you found the Sage of Fire, wonderful!" She was delighted. "It sounds like, to me, that the Sage of Water is next. Ashei will be guiding you but I will also be joining you." I was shocked. "Don't you have a bar to take care of?" Telma shrugged her shoulders. "It's just a bunch of drunk men! They could do with a break. I have weeping widows and exes coming in here all of the time. It's depressing. I'd like some more excitement." I was honestly happy with Telma coming. She would be a great companion. Ashei walked straight past us. I had a question. "Oh, Ashei-" but she was gone. She didn't even say hello. I wonder what's wrong with her?
