The next room had four high trees. "We must climb them" said Shad. However, it was not that simple as Skulltulas were everywhere. A single torch by a stone was in the middle of the room. "Find the hidden power and allow its wrath to snare your foes." Beth immediately ran to a pile of leaves. "In a natural setting, this would be easier to miss but, to me it is the one thing that stands out here." She pushed the leaves aside and saw a switch. She stood on it. All the Skulltulas died within an instant. "I'm going first" said Shad. He went onto the first tree and then to the second one, the third one and the fourth one. He jumped to the door section. Beth and I were quickly coming from behind. I opened the door and the two others came in from behind me.

There, I saw a locked door with a spiky looking lock. "That room is locked for a reason" said Beth. "There must be something horrifying in there. It is the heart of the problems we have faced." Shad slowly approached the door. "We may be able to find answers here. As to where Link has gone" Shad said curiously. Beth walked up to the door. "We need to find the key." She looked up and saw a monster. It was shaped like a spider. It crawled down from the ceiling. I withdrew my sword and slashed at it. It was deterred but it wasn't long until it came back for more. I jumped stabbed it in the head. A load of goo came out. Now, I'm positive it was dead. I turned around. "Look!" Shad yelled and pointed at the goo which was floating towards a gigantic keese. It went into its body. A moment on and it was flying in the air. It tried to attack me with menacing talons. I ducked, jumped into its back and it flew crazily. Trying to shake me off. I imbued the staff with shadow magic and stabbed it in its brain. It crashed on the floor and I jumped to safety. With no bodies, the goo couldn't go anywhere.

It went directly toward us. "It went through the door and vanished. I don't think this is over" said Beth. Shad went behind us to where the goo was and found a key. "This is what we need to open this door." He put it in the lock and turned it right. The chains and the lock fell. We went through the door and saw Ilia lying on the ground. Beth tried to get her but my arm stopped her. "Something isn't right." We walked into the room and out of nowhere the goo came back and crystallized itself. Beth looked up to see a wooden cannon. "Shad, come with me. Let's keep it distracted." They ran up a slope and made it to the cannon. I started moving around.

Meanwhile, Beth locked the cannon onto the targets. "FIRE!!!" she yelled in utter joy and excitement. The fire strikes the top half which burnt in flames. Meanwhile, Callum avoided the oncoming jabs. He managed to defend himself until more jabs came. He heard Beth's voice shout; "FIRE!!!" once more. All of the goo was now destroyed. Ilia was lying there, Callum approached her. A ray of light shone on her. Then, on a tree stump nearby sat a spiritual figure.

"Hello there" she said when she stood up. "I am the Sage of Forest. My name is Saria." Beth looked at her in awe. "I am a part of the Kokiri Tribe. We are forest children who never grow up. I once aided the legendary hero of Time but I also helped your friend in the form of a monkey." Shad was intrigued, as to be expected. "Why are you here?" Saria's eyes shone under the light. "I have to pass on my power to someone else. She has arrived." Saria approached Beth. I crown you The next Sage of Forest." Her spirit shattered into many fragments and entered Beth's body. The forest sign appeared on Beth's hand. Before anyone could react, everything went white.
