We went along the path we came before with Beth joining us. I had a few questions. "So, Beth, do you know where the legendary hero is?" She thought about it. "The last time I talked to him, he told me he needed to go back to another world. To this day, I do not know what he was talking about." I could see Shad was making a note of it. His observational skills were impressive. But, another world? My father told me the story, the legendary hero disappeared off to an unknown location and others theorize that it was possibly a different world completely. We came to the fork of the road and took the left.
"The swamp should be up ahead" Beth said. "It is rather poisonous so we should be careful." The environment started to change and it had became more gloomy. The purple mist swirled on the ground. "Wow. I see what you mean" Shad said. "Do you know a way across?" Beth snickered as if she thought we'd hate what was coming. "Are you any good at climbing?" I was fine with it but Shad wasn't. "I'm not good at it" he said. Beth jumped in joy. "Great! I can teach you then." But before we could climb the tree, a few Skulltula came from above. Shad went pale. "Don't worry. I've got it!" Beth pulled Shad to the side. "Don't be scared. It's just a few spiders."
I withdrew my blade, ready to fight. It came like a blur, but I was able to utilize Impa's power. With one slash, they were all gone. "How did you get rid of them so quickly?" Beth asked. "My power is from the shadows. It can repel against the darkness and distort it. Many people think that Shadow and Darkness are the same but alas, they are not." Shad joined me. "You're very good" he said. "Meh, it's standard training" I said. "Hey, guys. Grab onto this vine with me" Beth called out. I held on and so did Shad even though he wasn't prepared. Beth laughed as we swung through the forest. It went quick but we made it onto the other side. Beth landed on her feet and ran towards the temple. Shad landed on his back. I also landed on my feet but I slipped and closed my eyes. My hands caught the ground. I opened my eyes to see that I was above Shad who was still lying down. We looked at each other for a second. We both stood up very quickly. My cheeks went rosy. "Come on, guys! We're here!" Beth announced. We ran over to her.
"Are you ready?" Beth asked. "There may be no going back." I was still confident. "Yes. What about you?" She put her hand through her hair. "Oh, as always." Shad was more excited than I initially thought. "Yes! I cannot wait to study this temple." The temple door opened and we went inside. The first thing I see is two switches and a stone tablet in front of them which said; 'oh, find the two missing letters and the entryway shall open. "Pretty simple" Beth said. "We need to find two missing letters. They have to be in this room." We searched around to see if we could discover anything. Beth found a letter in a blade of grass. "It says A over here." Shad yelled; "I've found B over here." He was under a higher ledge, looking at a wall. "OK. Beth, you stand on A and Shad on B." They did that. The door opened. We continued through with confidence.
