What really made Tommy sick wasn't that there was money on the table, or a malnourished and abused cat as a poster, it was the underlying belief that The Recruit might actually try to hook up with a cat. There wasn't a single person in the room that didn't have seem belief that it was a possibility.
Except Tommy and Cat Girl. The only two with level heads in such situations. And Cat Girl was a schizophrenic.
But it was everything that led to Karl planting cameras, and Cat Girl training Mr. Kibbles.
That gay boy: he slept with a woman The Recruit wanted. The gang confirmed that the gay boy told The Recruit, "They're off guard because I'm gay. I can sleep in the same bed as them. I can do whatever the fuck I want. Because I'm gay. But I'm a believable gay. I hook up with men in front of them."
Tommy laughed when they actually believed this would work.
Mr. Kipples was one of the next encounters. Someone that he tried to fill the void with. Now the gay boy would have him as a 'pet'.
It wasn't necessarily a bad idea. To Tommy though, he thought it was just piss their future member off. It wouldn't actually get him to question his sexuality.
Tommy knew there wasn't going to be an explosion.
