Sean+Lyla Fanfiction (Life Is Strange 2)

The Concert Night Part 1

It's 4 pm in the afternoon, Sean was wandering, thinking about what to wear to the Misty Mice concert in front of his wardrobe.
"What to wear? I guess a simple hoodie and jeans will do, hope Lyla doesn't mind—"
"Sean! Sean!" Daniel, Sean's little brother knocked on the door impatiently.
"Okay okay, I'm coming." Sean moved forward to open the door for Daniel. He frowned and sighed. "What do you want?"
"Are you going to the concert with Lyla tonight?" Daniel asked with his extremely cute poppy eyes flickering.
Sean gave him an annoyed look then sighed. "Yeah—"
Just as Daniel was about to speak, Sean knew exactly what he was going to say and interrupted. "And no, you can't come with us."
Daniel pouted his lips. "Why? I want to see Lyla."
"The concert's for teenagers only. Besides, do you even know who Misty Mice is?" He folded his arms.
"Doesn't matter, I want to go! Let me go with you." Daniel pleaded.
Sean's eyes flickering back and forth, then he looked back at Daniel. "How about I give you a whole week pack of Chock- O- Crisp for exchange?"
A flush of excitement passed over Daniel's face. "Really?" He asked dynamically.
Sean nodded and smiled.
"Of course! If you can leave me alone for the whole day."
Daniel jumped up and down, his face was full of excitement. "Yes! Chock- O- Crisp!" He exclaimed then ran downstairs to tell his dad the good news. "Dad! Sean just promised to give the whole week of Chock- O - Crisp to me!"
Sean sighed, closing the door then went back to his wardrobe.
"Alright, squad hoodie, you're mine now." Sean took out the black- gray hoodie with the word 'squad' on it, dusting off then wore it.
Suddenly, the laptop screen popped up a video call from Skype as it started ringing. Sean stepped forward and leaned closer to take a look, it was from Lyla.
Sean then sat down on the chair and accepted the call. As soon as Sean opened camera screen, he saw Lyla wearing a light blue flannel with a clean white tank top in it.
"Hola, What do you think of my outfit for tonight?" She stood up, showing him the whole outfit by spinning two loops. Besides flannel and tank top, she wore the usual black pants with some holes in it.
"Looks pretty dope." Sean nodded and smiled.
Lyla grinned brightly then sat back down on the chair. She leaned closer to take a look at Sean.
"What do you wear dude? A squad hoodie? Seriously?"
"What's wrong with my squad hoodie? I love wearing it, it's comfy and—"
"You really need me to give you a makeover someday, you always wear hoodies!" She gestured. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm a hoodie lover." Sean said. "Touche." Lyla replied as she rolled her eyes.

After an hour of chatting-- mostly about Lyla's excitement for the concert. At 6:30, Sean went downstairs with his backpack. Inside was his wallet, including some cash his dad just gave it to him. He also took a can of beer and cellphone with him. "Dad, let's go. I'm ready." Sean said as Daniel walked past him with his favorite toy Power Bear in his hand. "Power Bear activate!" Dad walked over to Daniel and gave him a hug. "You sure you can be at home all alone by yourself?" Dad asked with his hands on Daniel's shoulders. "Of course! I'm an adult now." Sean burst out chuckling. "No, you're not." Dad patted him on the head and smiled. "I'll be home soon, take care of yourself." Daniel smiled back. Sean walked toward him and patted him on the head. "Take care, enano." As Sean approached to the front door, Daniel rushed to the kitchen, taking out a Chock- O- Crisp. As Sean and dad opened the front door, dad turned and yelled. "Oh and don't eat the whole pack of Chock- O- Crisp in one night, save them for tomorow." "Alright." Then just as they got out of their house, Lyla was already standing outside the fence. "Let's go already!" She grinned. They all got in the car and drove to the concert. While in the car, Lyla kept talking about what they are going to do in the concert. Then dad took out his favorite mixtape and played it out loud while driving miles through the highway.

The song 'Life Is A Highway' started playing, swipe left to listen.

"Seriously, you listen to this?" Lyla asked.
Dad chuckled. "This song is a classic, come on, sing with me!"
Sean rolled his eyes. "Please don't, Dad—"
"Life is a highway, I want to ride it all night long." Dad started his karaoke session as Lyla giggled and sang with him as well. "I seriously can't believe this." Sean complained as Lyla putted her hand on his arms. "Come on, Sean, sing!" Sean pulled away his arms and shook his head. "I'm not singing this."
"Suit yourself." Lyla then continued singing the chorus with Sean's dad. "If you are going my way, I want to drive it all night long." Within a while, the car soon filled with music and singing. Sean sighed as he started singing with them as well.
After an hour of driving, dad dropped them off in the car. "Have fun kids." Dad said. Sean and Lyla waved at him and smiled. "Will do, sir." Lyla replied.
Then after Sean's dad left, the two best friends rushed to the entrance.
"Oh shit." Sean cursed as he putted his hands into his pockets. "What is it?" Lyla asked.
"I didn't bring the tickets with me, I must have left it at home."
Sean looked up at her innocently.
"WHAT? Sean, I swear to god I'll kill you if—"
"Chill, just kidding. It's in my pockets, see?" Sean chuckled as he took out two tickets from his pockets.
Lyla smacked him on the shoulder the instant she heard it. "What the fuck? You literally scared the shit outta me!"
"Ouch, that hurts."
"Don't ever do that again, you hear me? No me gusta." Lyla gestured as they continued walking to entrance.
"You have no sense of humor at all."
"Haha, pretending to leave the tickets at home is so hilarious." Lyla said sarcastically.
After they entered inside, the first thing they wanted to do was to grab something to eat before the opening performance.
"I'm starving, let's grab something to eat first, how's that sound?" Sean asked as they went through some food stands.
"Hmm.... I don't know man, I mean— it's Misty Mice. I'd even eat some expired cheese as long as I can see the live show." Lyla smirked.
"Eww...seems like someone is a little bit obsessed." Sean stopped the pace then faced her with his hands shoved in his hoodie's pocket. "So, did you make up your mind? I was thinking of ordering something simple and cheap... like McDonald's."
Lyla turned to look at him. "That sounds great, we have half an hour to eat. Let's not waste our time, I don't wanna miss a single second of them performing." Then Lyla grabbed Sean by the arm and walked to get McDonald's.
After entering the restaurant, Sean ordered a cheese burger and French fries. Lyla ordered a chicken burger and a cola. They both sat down and ready to taste the meal.
"Dude, can I have one bite of your fries?" She asked as she stared at the fries Sean just bought.
Once Lyla grabbed a fries and putted it in her mouth. Sean took out his wallet. "Looks like it's my treat—"
"Whoa dude what?" Lyla chewed the fries while asking, which she almost choked on it.
"I'm paying for your food, it's your birthday, so I thought—" When Sean putted the money on the desk, Lyla grazed against Sean's hand while pushing the money back. "Don't be such a fucking gentleman, Diaz. You've already paid for the tickets. Please Sean, let me pay for myself this time."
Sean sighed then put the money back in his wallet.
After fifteen minutes, they have already finished biting the juicy burgers and fries.
"Dude, it's so delicious! I can't believe I can see Misty Mice and eat McDonald's in the same night. Best fucking night ever!"
