It's All About The Summer

Chapter 1

Alex

I couldn’t believe we were 10 minutes away from UK. That was my dream becoming true. And what more could I ask than to spend two months with my friends in the place I loved the most? Life was good that was all I could say. The plane was starting to fill with the voices of people waking up after the long flight. I was sitting by myself at the window seat. Auris and Cris were behind me and Mari and Tara were in front. I couldn’t wait for the plane to land, my anxiety was taking the best of me. I woke up the girls and put on the seat belt as the lights of the plane indicated. The plane landed with a loud thud and after a few seconds people started to get out. We waited till the plane was completely empty and then headed out. It took us about 20 minutes to be completely out of the airport and then reality hit us all. We were all by ourselves, recently graduated from school girls, in UK. We looked at each other and nodded. 

-1,2,3 ….

-HELLO UK! –We all shouted in unison. People around stared at us giving us the evils but we didn’t give a shit. This was going to be the most amazing summer ever

Auris

I was happy, yeah, but extremely tired. I just wanted to get to the hotel, eat something and sleep. We took a cab and after 15 minutes of a silent drive we arrived to the hotel. It was really big and actually pretty. We checked in and went to our room. Number 405. It was shockingly big and what made me even happier about it was the fact that we were the ones who payed for all that, our parents only helped us with the tickets, the rest was on our will. After a year of planning this trip we were finally there and it felt incredible. But being myself I just wanted food and sleep. We ordered our food to the room service and while it arrived we unpacked our things. The room consisted of a big living room, 3 separate bedrooms and 4 bathrooms; one for each bedroom and the other one in the living room. The living room had 4 couches and a TV, enough to make us happy for the next 2 months, as for the rooms they had 1 big bed each and a small couch. The bathrooms had a tub and a shower apart. Yeah definitely the best part of the room. Even if we were all tired we couldn’t hide our excitement but that will have to wait to the next day as for today the only thing we wanted to do was sleep. 

Cris

As soon as we finished eating we headed to the bedrooms. I was sharing room with Mari while Alex and Tara were sharing the other as Auris said she wanted to sleep on her own first. We agreed that everyone will have to sleep on their own every now and then. 

-I sleep talk okay? –Mari warmed me before switching the lights off

-I do too don’t worry

-Alright then talk to you later in our dreams 

-If that was meant to be a joke, you failed 

-Whatever, night

-Night 

Tara

Sharing room with Alex was not the best idea ever. She wasn’t letting me turn the lights off until she finished unpacking her things and organizing them in the wardrobe. 

-You can do that tomorrow!

-No, I don’t like to leave all my things that way give me 5 minutes I’m almost done!

-You said that 10 minutes ago 

-5 more minutes!

-Ugh MOVE IT! 

I was about to kill her, I was so tired I didn’t even want to think about One Direction and that was the biggest part of this trip. We were in the same continent they were and in a week we were going to a signing they were doing. That was something only Alex and I knew, the others had no idea and we were not planning to tell them cause they would obviously say no, we had promised the summer will be more than us trying to meet them as they didn’t like them at all so they would probably kill us if we told them, that time will come and then we’d think what to do. As for now all I wanted to do was sleep. Finally Alex was done and she came over to the bed, covered herself with the covers and turned the lights off

Mari 

I thought I was going to be able to sleep but after 10 minutes I figured out I wasn’t. I stood up and went to the bathroom which was the worst idea since it was all dark. What was I supposed to do now? I was standing in the middle of the room not knowing where that what and I felt incredibly stupid. Fortunately no one was seeing that as they would laugh about it the rest of the trip, probably one day I’ll tell them about it. When I was finally able to find the bed once again I slipped under the covers and closed my eyes imagining what the summer would be like. Just the 5 of us, around London for the next 2 months. Alex had always talked about traveling to London to meet Harry Styles but I had never thought it was going to be true, well at least the part of travelling to London as meeting Harry Styles wasn’t possible. I kept on thinking for about half an hour until finally I drifted off to my unconsciousness.
