Liam

-Boys move one! –I screamed over my shoulder. When I turned around I saw a lot of candles on the floor, Louis on the floor laughing, Zayn rolling his eyes and Niall helping Harry up –Is there any chance that a day goes by without you falling –I said as I laughed at him

-It was Louis’ fault! He put his leg in front of me and I didn’t see it cause I was carrying the things he didn’t carry –He said giving Louis a devil look

-Omg Liam you should have seen his face when he was falling, really nothing is funnier than that

-Yeah Lou thanks I’m fine as well as my manhood don’t worry

-C’mon guys we don’t have enough time! –Niall said checking his watch. He was right, it was 4:30 by now

-Oh crap! If we are not able to finish this I’m gonna kill Jake! –Zayn spat

-It was Harry’s fault –I said

-It was not! It was Niall’s who decided it would be funny to hide my cup of coffee –he made a puppy face and pushed Niall making him tumble a bit without falling

-Just move it! –I ordered and we started walking down the little road. When we arrived at the little open field beside the brook we put the boxes on the ground and started taking out everything

-So Liam, Niall and I will stay here and organize the blanket and the food and you two go and put the candles –Zayn instructed and gave Louis and Harry the candles and the lighter –And don’t mess up, work –they nodded and off they went. So Zayn and I started organizing the blanket, the food and everything we had prepared. Five minutes later came Jake with the big speakers and the microphones. Yeah, we were gonna sing to them. If everything went according to plan they will find the little road light up by candles on each side, and then when they got here the music will start playing and we will start singing and everything will be alright. Was it hopeless? That was the question that had been running through my mind all day, were they even going to come? But that was not the time to think negative; we had to finish everything before 5

-10 minutes guys! –Niall warned

-Where are Harry and Louis? –Zayn asked, looking at the road, waiting for them to come

-Must be near, the road is not that short Liam, patience –I said as I put my arm around his shoulders –how does it look? –I took a look at our work and was pretty happy with it. The blanket was placed carefully on the floor, the basket right in the middle, on top of it the 5 bouquets of flowers and in one side, the speakers. It looked nice to be honest, I was starting to feel lucky, I was sure it was going to work. We were being honest and we were doing this because we felt genuinely sorry, if that didn’t work then nothing would. I just wanted to see them walking to us, believing us. I just wanted to see Cris, smiling to me as she used to do. I missed her more than words could explain and it was killing me. I wanted to hug her once again and tell her how much I love her, because after two days of not being with her, not hearing a single word from her, I came to realize how much I really liked her and how much she actually meant to me.

-Guys we need help on the last part, which is actually here -Louis voice announced their presence. Then two smiling faces appeared through the trees. We looked at them confused –Oh yeah we didn’t want to see our work, what if it was awful?

-Whatever, how many candles left to light? –Zayn asked counting the candles that were left in the basket

-Um about 20? –Harry said looking at Louis

-Yeah more or less

-Okay let’s do it fast –Niall urged. Each of us took 4 candles and went to put them along the missing part. 20 candles were indeed needed to finish it
