DEAR JACK,
How can I even begin to look for
A way to express what I'm feeling?
Now and again, I find myself
Daydreaming of a life only with you.
So now, of course, I wish it were true.

THE STAMPEDE MOTEL IN DODGE CITY WAS ONLY AMAZING TO DEAN WINCHESTER. It was as if he had turned into a young boy, everything around him amazed him, and he could not stop touching everything in sight. As he had rushed around in excitement, the other four had stared at him curiously. Castiel at one point had even questioned if annoying a cosmic entity to be released from the Empty had made it worth it. After seeing Dean's smile, he was certain it was all worth it.

Dean had already prepped plans for the evening— showers, steak for dinner, maybe a movie if there was enough time and it had to do with cowboys, then sleep. The case was something they wanted to focus on tomorrow since the drive had worn them out. While the rest decided on sleeping arrangements, Dean hopped into the shower first. Given the amount of people, there was no choice but to double up on beds.

There wasn't much fighting when Sam had given the suggestion of Jack and Rose sharing a bed. Each had tossed their bags down to claim the bed while exchanging smiles. It was a suggestion they would've made themselves even if Sam was only using it as a tactic to get under Dean's skin.

Both had climbed right into bed as they waited their turns for showers and decided on starting a movie for themselves. Since Dean was too busy in the shower, they had settled on a movie that was not in black and white or anywhere related to cowboys.

After a short conversation with Castiel, Sam had turned to see the two already settling in. Each had sat as far away from each other as they could, not intentionally, but Sam had decided on doing something intentionally. Once the shower had stopped from the other room, Sam hurried himself over to the bed, slightly pushing Rose towards the middle of the bed. "Go on, scoot over. Closer to Jack, come on."

It had only taken a short time and several mumbled complaints from Rose before Sam had forced his way into the bed and the three were all squished together.

Right on time, Dean had came walking out of the bathroom, drying his hair with a bright smile. "Steak dinners! Let's go!" Pulling the towel down from his head, his grin had faltered. In an instant, Sam had stood up, ready to take his own shower and leave the chaos he had created for others to deal with. However, once he had left, neither Jack or Rose had shifted back to their normal positions as this was the most comfortable they've been being closer to one another.

Coming up to the bed, Dean wagged his fingers back and forth at the two, "What the hell is this?"

Rose pointed her finger up right behind him, "You said we could watch a movie." Realizing that Dean would not be pleased at all with their choice of movie, she quickly attempted to save herself. "It's a cowboy movie."
