- This is nice. – said Jimin, as we lounged on my couch, watching a movie on the TV.

- Yeah, it is.

We had gone out twice more after the lunch date. He was fun and easy to be with, and I could totally picture myself falling for him. He seemed like the kind of guy who would buy you flowers just because he felt like it or apologize even when he was right, just to stop arguing with you.

When he walked into a room, women stopped whatever they were doing to look at him. To admire him. He behaved like a magnet, drawing you close without you even being aware. Like a moth to the flame.

We hadn't done anything more than talk, and today was actually the first time we were truly alone in a room. We were sitting beside each other, my head on his shoulder and his arm around me, as he chuckled at the scene on screen.

I wasn't paying a lot of attention to the movie to know what he was laughing at, so I just kind of stared at him while he did it, noticing yet again how kissable his full lips looked. Imagining how warm they would feel against mine. How sweet or demanding he could be.

Until he caught me staring.

My gaze was locked on his, breath coming in short gasps. My eyes averted to his lips again and I was barely aware of licking mine in anticipation. He saw that. As I tried not to stop breathing, he came down slowly, gauging my reaction as his lips barely brushed mine.

I closed my eyes and waited.

The warmth surrounded me, the actual contact making me tremble all over. His kiss was patient, exploratory. It could make someone melt if he tried hard enough. I sure felt like it.

I reached my hand up, cupping his jaw, bringing myself a little closer. There was no desperation in the act, just a need to feel, to know what it could be like. As the seconds – or years – passed by – I couldn't really tell –, I felt myself wanting this to never be over. Craving it.

Needin ...

- Hana, I thought we could ... oh, sorry.

Freaking Jeon.

Separating myself from Jimin, I eyed Jungkook near the door, really wishing I could kill him with my stare as he hid his keys to my apartment in his pocket.

- Didn't know you had company. – he said, but made no move to leave.

You have got to be kidding me.

- Jimin, that is Jungkook, my next-door neighbor. Jungkook, this is Jimin. – I said gesturing, and giving my neighbor a look that clearly said "if you screw this up, you're dead".

- Hey, man. – said Jimin, waving curtly.

- Hi. I'm truly sorry. – answered the latter, giving us an apologetically smile.

Are you Jeon? Are you really?

- Well, what did you need, Jungkook? – I asked, intent on getting rid of him as fast as I could.

He was the one to say I should find a relationship for myself, and now he was sabotaging me.

- I just thoug ...

A ringing noise cut his words, stridently making me wince. Eyeing my phone on top of the counter and knowing exactly who was calling by the ringtone – and how she would not give up easily –, I dragged myself up and went to get it.

- If you two will give me a moment. – I said to the men, accepting the call and walking into my bedroom. – Hey, mom.

- Hana, honey. How are you doing?
