- Hey, what are you doing tonight? – I asked as Jungkook walked past my front door on Tuesday.

- Any specific reason why you're asking? – he threw back at me.

I hated when he did that. Asked something else instead of answering my question.

- I have a work thing, like a party or something. – I spoke as I finished washing the last dirty plate on my sink. – Thought you could come with me, if you wanted.

- I don't know, my couch feels so much better.

I ignored him, rolling my eyes as I closed the tap. I wasn't upset with his answer. I was not. Just figured it would be more enjoyable if he was there too.

But yeah, whatever.

Walking into my bedroom, I started rummaging through my clothes, trying to find something to wear. I didn't want to wear something too sexy and leave a wrong impression on my co-workers. But I couldn't go in jeans and a shirt either.

As I passed the hangers, dismissing every single article of cloth I owned, Jungkook stepped into the room, sitting on my bed and leaning back on his elbows. Watching me.

- So, since you're here and all ... – I started, picking two hangers from the wardrobe and holding each dress in front of my body for him to see. - ... the green or the black one?

Jungkook moved his finger in the air, motioning for me to turn the hangers around. He wanted to see the back of the dresses.

Both dresses were knee length. The black one was a classic tube, no major anythings. But the green had a back opening, one that didn't allow me to wear a bra at all. Sure enough, that's the one Jungkook pointed at.

- I don't know, doesn't this say "Hey, I'm giving you an in"?

- So? – he asked, moving to lay on his side, his head propped on his arm.

- I don't really want my co-workers thinking I'm giving them an in.

- They won't think that.

- Really? How do you know that?

- My hand in that opening will keep them from thinking about it. – he said, casually.

- I thought you weren't coming.

- Oh, I'm coming. You can count on it.

I stared at him as he smirked at his joke, rolling my eyes and tucking the black dress back in its place. Picking a pair of black heels, I placed the dress on the armchair and the shoes beside it.

- If you're coming with me, you should probably go shower and get ready, then.

- I don't need to go away to come with you. – he stated, winking at me.

- Can you stop? If you're not ready in thirty minutes, I'll leave you behind.

- Okay, okay. I'm going.

As I heard the front door closing, I rushed into the bathroom to take a shower, making sure not to get my hair wet. I don't know why I chose the strawberry gel wash. Okay, that's a lie. I chose it because Jungkook said he liked the scent of it, and when I used it, he went a little crazy afterwards.

I'm so not admitting that out loud, though.

Finishing my shower in about five minutes, I dried myself and dressed. My skin looked fairly good today, so I just left it bare, applying only some mascara on my lashes, a little blush, and a red lip tint. Letting my hair down from the bun I had on top of my head, I just ran my fingers through it, portraying a messy/chic look.

After wearing my heels and getting my purse, I walked back into the living room. As I reached the middle of the space, the door opened and Jungkook walked in dressed in a black shirt tucked in his black slacks, a couple of buttons open at his throat.

If I'm being honest, he looked edible.

No, wait ... Actually, yeah. That's right.

- Shall we go? – I asked, tucking my phone in my purse and looking at him.

He was staring at me with a dark fire in his eyes, barely contained in his dark irises. A fire that would burn me completely later, by the looks of it.

Locking the door, we went down in the lift and entered Jungkook's car. Driving swiftly through the streets as I directed him, his hair flowing a bit with the wind, I stole glances at his figure.

The man was really something. Especially if the clothes were off.

Once at the party, he kept his word of protecting me with his hand. I was always conscious about the warm skin in contact with my back, or the shivers that it caused every now and then.

By the time half the event had rolled in, I had already lost count of how many times I had to say "No, he's not my boyfriend. Just a friend". Judging by what I knew of him, Jungkook was not so easy to get into a relationship. But he smiled at everyone as I explained as much of the situation as I could, apart from the sex part, of course.

In the end, we had fun, chuckling casually as my co-workers got drunk and acted on it, embarrassing themselves for life. One confessed his undying love for his manager, the other danced like a maniac.

As they had their fun, me and Jungkook sneaked away after I said goodbye to my boss. The fire in his eyes had doubled, urging him to drive faster towards our building. When he parked the car and kissed me before hopping out, showing me exactly what I would be getting as soon as we were locked by four walls, I knew I wouldn't get too much sleep that night.

Thankfully, due to the party, work was out of schedule tomorrow.
