😏 SMUT WARNING 😏
I woke up surrounded by a warm embrace, a hand running up and down my arm, absently. Opening an eye to peek, I realized I was in my bedroom, laying on my bed in Jungkook's arms.
He had kissed me into forgiving him earlier, melting any resistance left in my body, although there wasn't much to start with. Making me see he meant every word he had said. Showing me how sorry he truly was and how much he missed me too.
I was too sleepy to keep up with him though, and just as he stopped kissing me for a second, holding me close to him, I had fallen asleep. He must have carried me to my bed and laid down with me.
- I know you're awake. - he whispered in the silence, making me smile against his chest and prop my chin on it, looking up to him.
- How? I didn't move.
- Your breathing changed.
- You are keeping tabs on my breath now, Jeon?
- I always did. Every time you woke up in my arms, your breathing went faster. It still does, apparently.
I stared at him quietly, trying to cope with the fact that he had paid way more attention than any of my previous boyfriends. And back then he wasn't my boyfriend.
Wait. Is he now? Are we officially dating?
Knowing that line of thought would only make me go insane, I returned to my previous position, laying my head on his chest and staring at my wall. But of course, nothing passed by Jungkook unnoticed.
- What is it? - he asked, fingers caressing my hair.
- What is what? - I said, avoiding the subject to almost perfection. Almost.
- Whatever it is you want to ask.
- Who says I want to ask anything?
- We already talked about the lying, Hana. - cupping my jaw with a hand, he tilted it upwards so he could look down at me. - Talk to me.
- Are we dating? - I blurted, not thinking about a more subtle approach.
Jungkook looked at me for a while, an unreadable expression marring his features. I hated that expression, I could never guess what was going on in his head when he wore it.
He became impenetrable.
- Ugh, never mind. - I sighed, trying to escape his hand and go back to hiding on his chest.
He let me do it, only so he could roll us around, putting me with my back on the bed as he loomed over me. His eyes burned with something, a contained fire that flowed from his skin to mine. A fire that made me forget anything that wasn't him.
- Is that what you want? To date? - he asked, a hand touching my hair as his eyes followed the movement.
- Uhm ...
- Or do you want something more formal? - he continued, obviously not wanting an answer. At least not right now. - A ring, perhaps? Should I take you to my parents' house?
I watched him, as he went down my body, lightly touching it, barely grazing it, his gaze intent. The t-shirt and sweats I had put on earlier offered no barrier against him, making me feel vulnerable and defenseless against him, all the heat from him crashing against me nonetheless.
At some point, I wasn't even aware of what he was saying. I knew he was talking, I could hear his voice, but the words made no sense in my head. Only the vibrations against my skin mattered.
