Fuli dashed across the African plains. She was chasing an impala for she was starving and hasn't eaten in a while. Unbeknownst to her, Janja and his clan dug a huge hole which was supposed to get prey from the Pridelands. She felt the normally hard ground under her give in and she fell into said hole.
"What on Earth?" she growled. Fuli looked up to see sky and she groaned, Fuli let her claws come out and dug it into the sides of the soft dirt wall. Every time she would move one of her paws up to move slightly, she would fall back down. Fuli was starting to think of other ways to get out of this situation until she heard a familiar voice.
"Fuli? What're you doing in there?" It was Kion and he was grinning stupidly. Fuli rolled her eyes and gestured to the huge hole she was currently trapped in, Kion got the message and nodded. When Kion trotted away, Fuli thought he left her just for the laughs.
She cried out loud, "I'm never getting out!" and slammed her paw against the dirty walls. Dirt started to tumble down and Fuli dodged them with her speed and agility. After 15 or 20 minutes, Fuli heard Kion's voice again.
A long green vine smacked her in the face and she looked up with a glare. "Sorry." Kion chuckled and he started to dangle the vine side to side - signalling her to grab it for him to pull her back to the surface. Fuli grabbed the vine and then a sudden jerk happened, slowly bringing Fuli to the fresh air. Then, the vine snapped and Fuli fell back on her rump into a cloud of dirt. "Uh-oh." Kion spoke.
"Oh come ON!" Fuli growled. Kion left again but brought something else, it was a thick branch. Fuli slowly dragged herself up the branch, with some worrying cracks, she sped up her pace. When Fuli face planted into the dead grass, she took a big whiff of the air around her, pleased that she was alive. The cheetah moved over to Kion and hugged him, glad that he was there to save her again. But to ruin the moment, her stomach loudly growled which earned a chuckle from Kion.
The lion cub pulled the cheetah along and said, "Hungry? I am too. Let's hunt." After a few hours of fun and hunting, they both caught a fat gazelle and they shared it. Fuli completely forgot the hole incident and was having a good time the rest of her day.
