Loki's Mate

Chapter 10

Staring down at the child, 'how can something so innocent come from that man' I thought seeing the little baby open his eyes. I felt him grab my finger as I smile, "beautiful" I heard as I look up to see Greyback, "why does the dark lord trust me with his child?" I ask him, "he trusts no one with his heir, he could tell you were trustworthy" he told me.

I look down at the child, 'I promise to protect you little one...I don't care who your father is' I thought as I lay a kiss on his forehead. "Who is his mother?" I ask looking  up at Greyback, "she died during childbirth" he said while I nod. "The dark lord wants you moved to a safe house" Greyback spoke as I bite my lip, "will it be safe?" I ask, "yes only me and him know where it is" he told me.

"Okay" I told him as I carefully lay him  beside me putting a pillow on the other side, "whats his name?" I ask, "the dark lord named him Salazar" he said. "Salazar...a strong name little one" I spoke as I slowly rocked him in my arms, I heard the door close signaling that Greyback left. I slowly fell asleep for a while before his cry was heard, I open my eyes as yawn before taking him in my arms.

I saw a bottle on the side table that wasn't their before, "hungry little one" I said as I took the bottle and start to feed Sal. I heard the door open as I look up to see the dark lord, "its time to move you and my heir, we are taking the Floo" he told me as I carefully get up. "Follow" he spoke as I followed making sure to have a good grip on Sal and still feeding him. Walking into a sitting area, I saw Greyback waiting as I finish feeding Sal and burping him.

The dark lord handed me a paper as I read it, I nod holding onto Sal as we traveled to his safe house. I saw we were in a living room, I look outside to see it was dark outside. "Greyback will show you around, I must return....protect my heir little girl" the dark lord spoke, "I will" I told him. "Come on" Greyback said as I follow him, he showed me where my room is which had a crib to put Sal in.

"The fridge is packed with food and Salazar's food, I will be popping in every morning to help" he told me, "thanks...just keep me updating on whats going on" I told him as he nods, "get some rest Pandora" he told me. I walk up to my room and lay Sal down in the crib, he fell asleep as I rub my stomach and lay on the bed. 'I miss you Loki' I thought as I slowly start to fall asleep.
