Chapter 6: Happy Birthday

Luke's POV

It has been two weeks since out album release. The guys and I had been planning tomorrow mornings surprise for weeks. Tomorrow was Noelle's 15th birthday. A few days after the release party in L.A we got a plane to Australia for one week. The best part was, we didn't tell Noe we were coming home for a week. I called her 3 best friends Lynn, Stacey, and Keatyn. They've been the closest of friends since they were 6. Paul dropped the 1D boys off at their hotel later that day. As soon as we pulled out of the parking lot I whispered our address to him as he drive of.

" Where are we going Luke, and where even are we?" She asked as I covers her eyes. As we pulled up is texted my dad telling him to bring the girls out front. Getting her out of the car without letting her look was challenging. We stood there for a moment before took off her blindfold and yelled...

Noelle's POV.

"SUPRISE!!!!" That's all I heard before I could see again. I was home. I was finally home. But the best present was my friends. It's been so long since I've seen them I started tearing up.

"Awwwww, HUGS everybody hugs" screamed Stacy. I ran and hugged my dad for what seemed like forever then I practically tackled Luke. We talked for awhile before the girls dragged me inside.

"So, do tell all! it's been 2 months Noe, what's happened?" Lynn said bursting with excitement.

"Did you meet a boy"? Keatyn asked. She was always asking me those kind of questions.

"Ummmm... Well, I kinda met some guy. But were not together it's just... were just... I really don't know what we are". I simply stated knowing id get a HUGE response.

" So there IS a guy"? Finally something we can help you with"!!! the both said together all most as if they planned it.

" I always thought I was going to be the first one in a relationship in this group". Stacy said with a fake sad look.

" GUYS HELLO IM NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP! Were just friends."

"Yeah sure, just friends. we've heard that one before".

" Yeah and we.. KindofAlmostKissedLastWeek". I said fast so they couldn't understand me.

We talked for hours about everything it was so much fun. I didn't want this week in Australia to end. We finally drifted to sleep on the floor at about 3:30. When I heard a noise...

Skylar's POV.

I was there. I had a taxi drop me of at her front door at about 8:30. Noelle was telling her friends about me. It wasn't bad I was just surprised. I didn't think she saw 2 weeks ago like a big deal. I almost walked in at 8:35 but decided not to. I would see her tomorrow anyway. So I called Louis to come pick me up. I know I shouldn't have but I told him about 2 weeks ago. When I told him I almost kissed her, at first he looked concerned but them just smiled. I had gone straight to sleep at 9:30 usually way to early for me but I had a lot on my mind. Before I went to sleep I looked at the stupid present I bought her. It took me forever to find but I bought her a signed Plain White Tees shirt. After talking that day in the lobby. (The day of the accident) She told me her favorite song was "Hey there Delilah". Which oddly enough was mine. She was supposed to bring her friends back-stage for tomorrow night's concert. I would talk to her then.

Noelle's POV.

We slept in till 12:30 the next day.

" Shit you guys, we gotta be at the bus by 2:00". We have to get ready. I ran to my closet and grabbed a pair of jeans and my BVB ARMY shirt, with my red converse.

"Oh no, your not wearing that"! Keatyn gawked.

" Yeah, if that Sky boy is gonna be there than your not wearing that"!

"Guys for the 34th time, (yes I counted) WERE JUST FRIENDS"!!!

"Sorry, no can do. change into this". She held up a pair of extremely tight leather pants I didn't even know I had, and a red, long sleeved tight shirt. which I also didn't know I had..

Louis' POV.

I was back-stage waiting for Noelle. We had groan very close over the years. I saw her friends walk in and went to go look for her. Once I saw her I blinked a few times to make sure it was actually her.

"Before you say anything Lou, I was forced to wear this by my friends. Trust me, not comfortable at all. As I walked in the building every guy in 1D and 5SOS started whistling. I could have punched them. Except Luke. He looked BEOND pissed. He knew I had no choice over what I was wearing but he was still pretty mad.

" Noelle, would you mind yelling me what the hell your wearing"? Before I could even mouth I'm sorry Keatyn stood up and said,

"Luke, don't blame her. It was my idea and I forced her into it." After 10 minutes of arguing about my appearance with my brother I was pulled away from the argument by the Tomlinson brothers.

"Here, change into this if ya want". Sky said holding up a pair of sweats.

"Thanks guys. For everything". After changing I walked back to the lounge everyone was hanging out at after a "look of approval" from Luke. Unfortunately both bands had multiple interviews after the concert so we would be there all night. The girls and I passed out on the couch at 11:00. I woke up to go to the bathroom at 11:45. As I walked out I noticed Sky across the room. He motioned me over to talk to him.

"Can we talk outside for a sec"? I followed him to the parking lot for some reason.

"What do you need to talk about, is something wrong"? Then it happened. What almost happened 2 weeks ago happened. At that moment I knew. He was the one.

Skylar's POV.

Have you ever heard somebody say, " when the person is the right one sparks will fly"? I've heard that phrase at least a million times. There were no sparks whatsoever. It was fireworks. That's all I'm gonna say.

"Happy Birthday Noelle, was all I said before walking out. She didn't say anything she just walked back in after me took her place on the couch smiled at me and went right to sleep. This is the one thing I'm Not telling Louis.
