Chapter 5. Friends?

Skylar's POV

I felt like a complete ass-hole that night. I made Noelle admit something she didn't feel comfortable with. And I can never take that back. Also that text I sent her... "I'll always be there". I was making it WAY too obvious that I had feelings for for didn't I ? I finally drifted to sleep. I had the worst dream I've ever had. I was in my hotel room but there was no furniture. Just empty space. I was pinned to the wall by some Douch in my school I couldn't stand. suddenly I turned around to see Noe, she was worse than she was from hallway with fresh wounds. She walked up to me, kissed my cheek and slowly whispered into my ear "I'm sorry". But what she did next scared me half to death. She took my arm and suddenly her scars were gone. but the next thing I know I have them. she then starts bawling on the floor yelling " You shouldn't have to go through what I did". That really freaked me out. After that I had woken up screaming. Suddenly Louis comes rushing into my room.

"SKY, ARE YOU OKAY? WHATS WRONG"!

I started to cry, I normally don't cry often but I was feeling so much pain I had to. I told Louis about Noelle's cuts. I know it was a shitty move but I had no choice. I know Louis would always be there for the both of us. He told me it would be okay. I made him promise not to tell Luke or any of them. After he left I thought about going to see Noelle. I quickly changed into something nicer. (that meant something that wasn't pajamas) before I walked down I realized I couldn't go apologize empty handed. I grabbed a $10 bill out of my suitcase and ran down the street trying to find the nearest Flower shop. After I got there I made a big mistake. I almost bought roses. That would be a very stupid move. it would be like saying " Hey, sorry for what I did yesterday he's a bunch if roses to say I'm sorry "friend" here". Yeah.. No. I put them back and finally found a nice bouquet of daisy's. I paid the cashier and walked out. I started thinking... "What if she takes this the wrong way". I mean I like her, I REALLY do have feelings for her but I'm almost positive she doesn't. We have only known each other for 2 weeks and she already makes me act and feel.. I don't know happy? it might be a shocker but I've gone through some dark times. But the past is the past. I was hit with a flood of nerves as I knocked on her door...

Noelle's POV.

*knock knock*

"Just a sec" I yelled into the hallway. I quickly fixed the hem of my dress in the mirror before answering the door. Yes, I was wearing a dress. Sue me. Luke invited me to his band's newest album release party. Normally I would say no, just so I could stay out of the public eye. But I had to for him. I opened the door shocked.

"Hey," I stammered like an idiot. Not the smoothest move Noe, Dammit!

" Umm... Hey, Noelle, these are f-for you". He stuttered as he handed me the flowers.

" You, look amazing, are you going to the release too"?

" Yeah.. sorry I'm normally not a dressy person, you should see the shoes management wants me to wear. I know I'm short but damn I rather not kill myself"! STUPID I thought. Rather not kill myself, after yesterday's stunt it looks like I've already tried...

" Come on in". Ugh.. Seriously Noe, I told myself. YOUR PRACTICALLY GIVING YOUR FEELINGS AWAY!! i thought in my head as I sat down.

"Listen Noe, I just came to apologize for what I did. I feel like a Dick for invading your privacy".

" It's fine, really I should have told you". I said with a tear starting to form in my eyes.

" Just, promise me one thing, promise me you'll stop. I don't know what id do without you here".

"I promise". I said it with a smile. Before I met him I never really smiled much... We talked for a bit before it got very awkward. I reached for the flower vase at the exact same time he did. For some reason we didn't dare move our hands. We didn't say anything either. We just sat there and gazed into each others's eyes. It didn't feel weird or awkward. In that exact moment I felt.. safe. like nothing could hurt me when I was staring into his perfect blue eyes. NO NOELLE YOU CAN'T IF YOU KISS HIM AND LUKE FINDS OUT YOUR DEAD!! PLUS YOUR ONLY 14 !! I thought for a moment. But I put those thoughts in the back of my mind. In that moment I didn't care. I didn't care about the awful names I was called in school or the shit I've gone through with my brother. I was just me. And I was loving every second of it. He leaned in and I was about to do the same when I heard somebody outside trying to get in.

"Noe, I forgot my key to the room again can you get the door"?

"Shit." I whispered to Sky. "here you hide in the closet. I'll distract him so you can make a run for it. if he sees you in here hill Flip out"! As soon as he ran into the closet I opened the door.

"Luke, your back are you ready for the party"?

"Yeah and I'm glad you are to. Limo's in the parking lot". Thinking about the mysterious boy in the closet I quickly said.

" Here, you go I'll meet you down there just let me grab my bag from the closet and I'll be down".

"Oh, okay", he simply said before closing the door. As soon as my brother was gone I opened the closet door and found him sitting in the corner.

" Coast is clear. Im really sorry. umm. bye I said grabbing my purse and running out. I looked back halfway to see him closing the door and walking back to his room. Soon after that I slid into the the limousine next to my brother as we took off. The entire way I couldn't help but think.. "did I actually almost kiss him??? like am I dreaming is this real? Was that an accident? All of these questions swirled inside my head the entire night at the party. We got home at 1:00 am and I quickly got a shower and went to sleep. As happy as I was I fell right asleep. The best thing was, that was the first night in almost 2 weeks that I didn't have the awful nightmare.

A/N : Sorry this took 2 days I've been really busy. I have one announcement. This Saturday I will not be updating at all.
