Noelle's POV

The boys were done with interviews at around 1:00 am. Everybody was already passed out. Everybody except me. My heart was racing a mile a minute. I didn't see Sky after what happened. Which was a bad thing. I had so many question I started to get a headache. After the girls' little nap they were recharged and already planning a famous all-nighter. We stopped at star-bucks on the way home and were almost bouncing off the walls before the car pulled out of the driveway. When we got home Luke hopped in the shower and my dad was already asleep. All three of us piled into my room as Stacey shut the door.

"So, what's up"? I said as calmly as I could.

"What's up?? that's all we get! Noelle, we know what went down outside. We followed. WERE YOU NOT GONNA TELL US "? Lynn almost screamed. They were still not letting it go. I tried to act cool about it but inside it was killing me. He didn't even bother to send me a text message, he didn't explain himself, and on top of all that he ran away. I thought about confronting him tomorrow but I decided against it. I only had three more days until I was out of town again. Only three more days until I have to leave my two best friends again. I wasn't going to waste three more days chasing after a boy I'll have to deal with for one more month.

"You guys spied on me! I thought you were sleeping? Why"?

" Because we were trying to look out for you. He's really sweet actually. We don't want you to be heart-broken". Lynn said wrapping me in a hug.

"Again". Stacey mumbled to herself.

"What did you say"? I asked her.

" Don't act like it didn't happen. Yes, I said it. We both know it's all anyone thinks about anymore. Like I said, heart-broken again". Stacey said loudly on the verge of tears.

"Stace... Do we really need to bring "him" up right now"?

I was mad. I was furiously mad with them. "Him" that's what they were saying. Apparently we weren't bringing up his name anymore.

" So I see you guys are acting like he never excised. Real smooth guys". I grabbed my phone and walked out of my room. I didn't cry I had spent months crying over it last year. I don't feel sad when they bring him up anymore I just get the feeling of numbness. Like nothing matters.

We were so close. him and I. but as the old saying goes. What comes up, must come down.

"Look, were really sorry. What can you do to make it up to you"? Keatyn said begging.

" Well, you could start by calling him by his real name. Which if you forgot is Taylor". We finally talked it out and agreed to go visit him the next day. By then it was 5:00 am so we decided to go to sleep.

The next morning we all woke up, got dressed and walked to the park down the road. It was only a 15 minute walk. It was nice and warm outside. I watched little kids playing in the background as the four of us walked down the windy trail. He was always hard to find at first but we soon found him.

"I think we should give them their privacy", Lynn said softly.

I walked up to him and sat down. This was the first time I was able to go see him without balling over what happened between us.

" Hey Tay" I said quietly while staring at his old, cracked, grey tombstone.
