Chapter 9: Moving on

Noelle's POV

I woke up in Paris. Not many girls get to say that. The tour would stop for 2 days then we shipped out to somewhere else. I lost track of all the places we were stopping. I walked straight into the hotel, plopped onto the bed and stayed there. I just wanted to sleep. I didn't want to think about my friends, or Sky, or Tay or anybody. I woke up at 9:00 am. My personal best. Luke was still sleeping so I quietly grabbed my things and ran down to the pool. Finally it was empty. I made sure nobody was coming and slowly removed my jacket. My wrists were much better due to the fact I haven't cut in 2 months. To say the truth, if Taylor would have never died I wouldn't have this problem. I wasn't a big swimmer but I just loved feeling the cool water on my skin. I relaxed on the side and almost fell asleep.

I was about to drift off when to my surprise I was hit with a giant splash.

" Hey watch were your go- Sky"?

" Yeah, I figured you'd be here I really need to talk to you about, umm... Things". He said nervously.

"Things"? I asked.

"Y-your B-Birthday". he stammered.

"Right. My birthday. Id rather not have this conversation while inside of a hotel pool, so I'll text you when i'm changed so we can talk about this in the lobby or wherever you want".

I walked out of the pool and immediately covered up in a towel. I'm not one to show off my body that much. I ran into the elevator just before it left. Luckily Sky took the next one up. A half hour later I was ready to talk. I didn't dress up in anything special just a pair of old sweats (borrowed from my brother) and a band shirt (borrowed from Lynn). I heard the door knock and went to answer...

Skylar's POV.

"Hey" I said. She looked great.

"Hi, we need to talk".

We talked it out. I think we knew at that point. We knew that there was no use trying to hide our feelings anymore.

"Hey listen, if our brothers found out about the kiss they would kill us. She had a point.

"Well, I think we should just let this blow over. And if we think it's right later down the road then we'll figure it out".

That was so stupid. I couldn't stand to wait till "later down the road". I was an idiot. She could be taken by then. U needed to let her now.

Noelle's POV.

I couldn't stand it anymore. As soon as he stopped talking I went in. I just had to kiss him again. It was killing me. I realize it was a stupid move but I didn't want to "see what happens later down the road". He understood me. He excepted my self harm and didn't think I was what Luke likes to call "emotionally unstable". Gawd, he was the reason I stopped cutting.

I would kiss him then he would kiss me and on and on. this went on for at least a few minutes until the worst thing that happened in that moment happened.

Luke's POV.

I was clueless. Oblivious to the fact that Noelle was interested in that Skylar boy. I Hated him to say the least. I opened the door and my jaw dropped. She was sitting up with her hand on his shoulder. Holy shit she was kissing him. I dropped my bag and just slammed the door behind me. I just walked on the sidewalks of Paris not caring how many people recognized me. I tried so hard to protect her. To keep her safe. After Taylor died she was a wreck if something happens to him she'll go crazy. Me leaving a lot doesn't help the situation. She was broken and hurt. I'm not going to let that boy hurt her anytime soon. I'm her brother, I need to take care of her. I walked back in 15 minutes later. After I calmed down. I found a note on the table that said.

Luke, if you need me I got a text from the guys and we went out to eat nearby. Join us if you want P.S I'm sorry. that was not supposed to happen.

Noe,

I grabbed my phone and called a taxi. I met them at this diner. I started yelling to say the least...
