Amnesia

Chapter 6

Another chapter everyone.  I hope to finally get Luke and Alana bonding in the next chapter and remember this is only beginning; ) please vote comment and enjoy

(Lukes' POV)

Alana and I  quickly ran along the bumpy pathway leading towards the lake, making sure we wern't caught by any of the group leaders.Alana started running ahead of me at a faster pace, is she trying to challenge me to a race?I ran even fatser, passing her and as I did I stuck my tongue out and winked.

(Alanas POV)

I heard a a noise.Is someone behind us?Did they notice we had gone missing? Fear overcame me and I ran quicker.Seconds later I was I was passed by luke, he stuck out his tongue at me and winked before saying,

"Gonna have to do better than that," what on earth is he talking about?Wait is this his way of telling me he wants a race?If it's a race he wants, it's a racehe's going to get.I took a breath in a sprinted forward, faster than I ever have before in my entire life( i'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but me and sports don't mix).

Everything was a blur of greens and browns as we ran closer and closer to the lake.I was in front then Luke then me then Luke again.This carried on until we were seconds away from the lake.When we reached it, neither of us could stop our feet in time and we slipped over the dirt and branches into the lake.The whole of my body became cold as we hit the water in one massive splash.

We swam to the surface of the water and stared at each other before we burst out laughing.Luke was the first to get out, he then offered his hand out to me.I gratefully grabbed hold of it and sparks when from my hand all the way up to my shoulder.He grinned and pulled me up.It was silent for a for a few moments as we squeezed the water out of the bottom of our tops.Luke spoke up,

"I deffinately won that," he beamed with pride.He can't be serious.

"What are talking about I totally got here first," I fired back.

"Well how do we decide?" he thought for a second, "I know! Rock paper scissors"

I  agreed.

"YES IN YOUR FACE LOSER! OH YEAH I WIN!!" I cheered as my paper covered his rock.I started walking back to the cabin site.

"Hey you cheated, wait where are you going?" He jogged to catch me up.

"Back to my cabin I need to get on some dry clothes before I catch a cold." He nodded and walked beside me.I wonder why Luke had an australian accent.

"Hey Luke, Why do you have an australian accent, I mean did you move to London or something?"

"Nah, i'm just here on holiday, i'm here for  three weeks then for the other three weeks i'm going to be staying at my nans.She has a house in England." Oh, that makes sense.I nodded and we were now at the site.The groups were still doing activities but it looked like they were finishing, hopefully me and Luke could get back to our cabins whithout being caught.

"Well thankyou very much Luke for keeping me from falling asleep because of all the group activities,"

"Don't mention it, I enjoyed it," he winked and I couldn't stop the blood rise to my cheeks.We both smiled once more before turning into our cabins.I grabbed my phone off my bed and texted my mum telling her I got tired and went home, that way she won't get suspicious. I peeled the wet clothes off my body and threw them on the floor, i'll sort them out later I shrugged.I dried myself with a towel and put on a pair of pyjama shorts,tank top and long fuzzy socks.I made myself a cup of hot chocolate and sat on the sofa, to say the least I was toasty.

"Ally come on babe it's late get up and get into bed.You can't sleep on the sofa,"i heard mums voice.I didn't respnd, just stood up and made my way over to the bed drifting off to sleep once again."

Tap Tap Tap

I opened my eyes.What was that noise?

It happened again.

"Alana, Alana" this time a voice spoke. Now I was freaking out.I looked over to the window and saw a face.I squealed and fell ot of the bed with a thump.Thankfully neither mum or Andrea woke up.What am I saying?They need to wake up there might be a killer outside my window!

"Alana! Alana it's me Luke" Luke? I looked through  the window and there was the australian lad that I had only raced to a lake ours earlier.I went over to the door and opened it slowly to be faced with a pair of blue eyes.I looked him up and down, he was wearing a pair of plaid pyjama bottoms a white t-shirt and a pair black converses.

"Luke what are you doing here?!" I whispered.

"I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep,"

"so you decided to come amd wake me up?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Yes.Wait no..erm maybe," he stuttered.I laughed at his nervousness.

"Look you want to come with me or not"he laughed too.

"Where?"

"The lake?But this time not actually in the lake" he chuckled.

"I'd love to," I grabbed my slipper boots and followed him out the cabin door.
