(Lukes' POV)

Alana? What was she doing here?Mum told us one of her friends' was coming round so I kind of just zoned out.WHy should I care about her social life? But I did remember her mentioning her friend had a daughter my age...Alana!Of course!

"Luke?" she stared back at me.

"Oh? You two already know eachother?" My mum looked confused, shocked but overjoyed. It's not like I don't have friends, I do but i'm not exactly 'popular' which upsets my mum. Both my brothers are very popular among the school and she hoped I would be the same. Not in a bad pressuring way, but she's worried that i'll grow up lonely like she did when she was a child. She got bullied a lot and is scared, that it might happen to me.

"Well that's wonderful!" Alanas' mum exclaimed, "How did you two meet eachother?" she seemed curious.Of course she would be.Beacuse of Alanas' lack of friends, i'm pretty sure she was delighted to hear that she was finally making some.

(Alanas' POV)

I looked at Luke then back at my mum.I guess I should answer.

"We met on the first day we came here, you know, when I went on that walk.I went to the lake and that's where I saw him..." I trailed off, not really wanting to go into much detail.

"Oh isn't that sweet," Lukes' mum cooed, her australian accent really obvious.

"Yeah...erm okay...Mum me and Alana are going out." Luke stated.

"So soon?"

"Yes," He rolled his eyes.He went t the bedroom section of his cabin and came out with his guitar.I guess today will be the day we play guitar together.

"Come on Ally," he mumbled ushering me out the cabin door.

"In a rush are we Lukey?" I giggled. He sighed,

"I just don't want to be there for long.My family's so embarrasing at times."

This time it was my turn to sigh.

"Trust me, I know how you feel."

"Let's not keep thinking about family c'mon, I found this really cool place we can go to," he sounded excited. What about the lake?

"What about the lake?" I asked what I thought.

"Trust me.This place is awesome it's my-well our little secret now," he blushed and then continued," Like seriously, no-oneknows about this place."

I smiled showing my teeth and grabbed his free hand.Luke lead the way, and it semmed that we were walking into the the forrest.I looked around; trees everywhere and the ground was covered in broken twigs and crunchy leaves. This place would be terrifying at night.Good thing it's only 11:42 in the morning. We continued further into the woods until we stopped at a cabin? We left a cabin...to go to another cabin? This cabin seemed really old though, like it hasn't been used for years. The windows were boarded up and cob webs hung around every corner. To add to that, the paint was peeling  and the wooden tiles from the roof were falling off.It was a hurrendous sight to see.I grimaced as we stould there for a moment, Luke turned to me and finally decided to speak,

"Well? What do you think?" The look of hope evident in his eyes.I have to be honest, I can't lie to him.

"It's an old cabin Luke."

"Yes, but not any old cabin. It's our cabin now! Look at it, no one has been here for years, that means it's ours!"

"Luke I don't think that's how it work-" he cut me off.

"Well who cares? No one will ever know." He did have a point.

"Well let's not just stand here!" I grinned and ran towards the cabin and was about to grab the door knob before an arm was put infront of me.

"Wait! We don't know what could be in there," Lukes' scared voice filled my ears.

"I thought you've been here?"

"I have...just not inside yet.I saw the cabin but I didn't have time to actually look inside," he scratched the back of his neck.

"Well there's no time like the present!" Without giving him time to answer, I grabbed his hand and the door knob then we both burst through the old door.
