Chapter 13

(Alanas' POV)

I took one more breath as I finished the last line of the song.In all honesty, I was afraid to look up, yes, I know he had already read the words but I had never actually sung in front of him before.I don't know where I suddenly got the confidence from, maybe it was because I knew this would be the last time I would see him for quite a while.

"I never knew your voice was so beautiful," Luke said quietly.Beautiful?I knew I didn't sound terrible but did he really think I sounded beautiful.I just smiles in return.Then I realised we only had five minutes before we had to be back at the cabin.

We held hands for the last time as we walked back to the cabins in silence.In once scence, I wanted to talk to him and hear his voie as much as I could before we left but on the other hand I didn't want to ruin the moment by talking and makind me even more destraught than I am, besides, I would probably end up crying my eyes out if I did try to talk again.Soon we were back at our cabins, Luke had told me his family were leaving tonight so he needed to start packing when he got back, unlike me, my mum and Andrea were already in the car.They hadn't seen me yet so I had one more hance to say a final goodbye to Luke.I looked at his mezmerising eyes, I could just get lost in them, Luke broke the silence,

"Ally," he took my hands in his, "I don't want to say much because it will just make me more upset than I already am.You don't have to say it back, you really don't have to say anything at all.Now, I know we've only known eachother for a short amount of time but it feels like i've known you my whole life and I just wanted to say...to say...i-i love you Alana," he finihed looking straight in my eyes.

OKAY HOLD UP!!! LUKE JUST SAID HE LOVED! NO LOVES ME!!! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! I don't know if i'm ready.What do I do?What do I say?We're still staring into eacothers eyes.Before I even have a chance to open my mouth, Luke slowly leans in and places his soft lips on mine.I kiss back automatically, our lips moving in sync.Like always a bolt of electricity shot through the whole of my body, my heart beat faster and it felt like hundreds of butterflies were having some sort of party in my stomach, but this kiss was the most special we have ever shared, most likely because it was our last...

When we pulled away he smiled at me one more time before walking away back to his cabin.I felt the warm tears flood down my face as I stared at the back of Luke walking into his cabin.He can't just tell me he loves me then walk away! It's not fair or right!

"Alana?Is that you?" I heard my mums' voice from behind me, I quickly wiped my tears and walked back but didn't make eye contact, "Oh good.You're back just in time.I put all your stuff in the car so now we're ready to leave.Did you say goodbye to Luke?"

I simply nodded while glumly walking in to the car and put my seatbelt on.Once again, I was in the back but I didn't care.I plugged my earphones in and looked out the window as my mum began to drive.I spotted Luke in the window of his cabin staring at me.He gave me weak smile and wave, I waved back silently  until he was out of sight.I tried to stay awake but eventually the beautiful voice of Taylor Swift lulled me into a deep sleep.
