Mavis and Genevieve were standing in front of Simon's large black door. As Mavis rang the doorbell, they heard Simon say I'm coming, hold on to your trousers!

As he opened the door, he was surprised to see Mavis standing there. He rarely came over. "Mavis, such a pleasure to see you again!" Simon exclaimed.

Mavis smiled with glee. Simon looked over at Genevieve.

"Hello. Who might you be?" He asked.

Genevieve slowly hid behind Mavis. "I-I'm Genevieve." she stuttered.

Simon smiled. "Oh, it's okay. I won't hurt you. Besides, Mavis is the demon here."

Mavis quickly said, "Oh, but I won't hurt her. For I love her."

Simon was surprised. "Found love so soon?"

Mavis laughed. "It has been 17 years, what do you mean 'soon'?"

Genevieve, still hiding behind Mavis, said, "Uh..Mavis?"

But since she was speaking so quietly, Mavis couldn't hear a thing. He just kept on speaking with Simon.

Simon looked down at him."Mavis, what had happened to your vest?" He asked.

"Oh, this? Don't worry, it's just ripped." Mavis insisted. "Really it's fine."

Genevieve spoke up once more. "Mavis!" She yelled.

Mavis and Simon both looked at her. "Oh, I'm real sorry Genevieve," Mavis apologized. "What do you need, love?"

Genevieve looked a bit angry. "Do you remember what we came here for?" she asked.

Mavis thought for a little while. "Oh crap, I'm sorry!" he apologized once again. He looked at Simon. "We need your help to search her mother."

"Oh, indeed. What is your mother's name, Genevieve?" Simon asked.

Genevieve was sad. "I don't know her name."

"Well what about her last name?"

"It's William. But how can you find her?" she asked.

Simon turned around to walk inside. He looked at both Mavis and Genevieve. " Come with me."

As they walked through Simon's doors, Genevieve felt glad that Simon might actually find her mother.

While Simon lead them to his computer room, he said, "Now, I know I will find her, Genevieve dear. I keep track of everyone in this town so that I may murder the criminals. I know their history by just doing a little research."

"Oh thank you, Simon!" Genevieve thanked him. "But what happens if you don't find her?"

Simon laughed. "Nonsense! I always find the people I need. It just takes a few hours."

Genevieve understood. As they kept walking, Simon turned around to check if Mavis was still with them.

"Mavis, you have been quiet for quite a while. Is something the matter?" He asked.

Mavis looked up in surprise. "Oh, no. No, nothing's wrong."

"Why have you been so quiet? You usually always have something to say." Simon asked.
