Mavis leaves Simon's home, spreads his fluffy black wings out, and begins to fly to Genevieve and Theresa. I hope I'm not too late thought Mavis.

Finally, he spots them near Genevieve's home. He quickly lands near her and grabs her arm, pulling her away from Theresa and searching her.

"Mavis, what on earth are you doing?" asked Genevieve.

"I'll explain later." He said, as he was still searching for the bomb.

Mavis looked at Genevieve's choker. There was a small, glowing circle attached to it. He yanked it off and threw it into the air.

"Mavis, what was that all about?" she yelled.

The circle exploded in the air, leaving smoke in its surroundings.

"I just saved your life." Mavis said.

Genevieve was confused. "But...how did you know?"

"Well, guess I have to tell you."

"Tell me what? I just want to know about that bomb thing!"

Theresa stepped in. "I heard the gunshot, Mavis."

Genevieve glared at Mavis. "What gunshot? Mavis, what happened!?"

"Look, I just need to talk to you." Mavis pulled her far away from Theresa. "Don't freak out but, I killed Simon."

"Why? What has he ever done to you! He is a nice guy!" She whined.

"Genevieve, Simon hates you. He had always wanted you dead. That bomb, he attached it to your choker."

Genevieve looked to the ground. "Did he say anything about my real father?"

"He didn't say, but we won't have to worry about that." He said.

Theresa heard Genevieve. "I know your real father, Genevieve. He and I had fun times, until he started getting drunk and believing that you were his only child. I kept Simon, but when you two grew older, Simon left, and your horrid father took you away to hide. I was afraid, I didn't know where you were."

Theresa hugged Genevieve. "But now, I'm just so glad I found you."

Genevieve returned the hug. She let go of her and turned to Mavis. "I want to stay with you, Mavis. I don't want us to be separated anymore."

Mavis looked at Theresa, and back at Genevieve. "What about your mother?"

"I shall give her lots of money to hire maids, and pay for her home. Doesn't that sound good, mother?"

Theresa smiled. "It sounds lovely! Thank you, Genevieve!"

Genevieve walked closer to Mavis. "I'm glad you returned for me, to save me."

"Of course I did. I love you," Mavis smiled. "I would do anything to protect you."

He leaned down and gently kissed Genevieve's lips. She backed away a few seconds later and said, "I love you too, and you know...this really is a special return!"
