Yu-Gi-Oh: The Life of Renita

chapter eleven

That night Atem and Renita heard that Bakura attacked Akhnaten. Bakura was using Diabound to escape the castle. Atem and Renita ran to the stables and got on their horses. Renita told a servent to watch the prince and princess. The servent said they would. Atem and Renita quickly went after Bakura.

"I call Slyther the sky Dragon" Atem said. A big red dragon appeared and fallowed Bakura. Diabound smashed though the palace gates. Atem and Renita were close behind. "I call Andsite dragon" Renita said. Andsite appeared. They chased Bakura until they were at a cliff.

Atem couldn't see Diabound. Renita couldn't either. Seto and the other priests were close behind. Diabound attacked and Slyther was about to attack back. But it stopped as if it was in pain. It was destroyed. Atem felt the pain. "Atem, are you alright" Renita asked. He told seto to Attack. Seto attacked but destroyed the wrong creature. Atem went up to where Bakura was. They fought and Atem fell off the cliff. He grabbed the edge. Bakura took his puzzle and made him fall.

"Atem!!!" Renita called. Atem disappeared in the darkness. Renita went up to where Atem fell. "Atem!" She yelled. Bakura escaped. Renita went back to the palace. "He's alive, he has to be" Renita thought. She cried herself to sleep.

The next morning she frantically made her way to the thrown room. "is there any sign of my husband?" Renita asked. "I have Spiria looking my queen" Isis said. "Good. Seto, Shida, I want you to help in the search for any clues on where Bakura will be. I'll be looking for the pharaoh on my dragon" Renita said. "Be careful my queen" Isis said. "I will. Keep an eye on my children" Renita said. She went outside and called Andsite dragon.

She went by the Nile river and found Mana practicing her magic. "Mana, have you seen the pharaoh?" Renita asked. "he's missing?" She asked. "Yes" Renita said. She relived Andsite dragon and they walked down the Nile. Something in the water caught Renita's eye. "His cape" Renita said. They pulled it out of the water. "He has to be close" Mana said. They ran down the river. They found him standing outside a cave. "Pharaoh" Renita called. He looked at her and smiled. They ran to each other's arms. "Thank heavens your safe" Renita said. "I'm alright" Atem said. "Your hurt." Renita said noticing the bruises on his face. "I'll be alright. I promise" Atem said.

Shida came by soon after. "My king and queen, we've located Bakrua. He's in Kel Elna." Shida said. Atem and Renita got on their horses that Shida brought. Mana hopped on Atem's horse. They rode to Kel Elna. Shida said he was told only evil people lived there at one time.

In Kel Elna they were attacked by skeletons. Everyone but Atem and Renita faught them. Atem and Renita went to find Bakura. They found him and he was over a stone. It looked like it could hold all of the Millenium items in it perfectly. Bakura already had the Millennium ring and Atem's puzzle.

"Welcome pharaoh and queen. I see you had your new brat" Bakrua said. "Bakura, first you disrespect my father and now my wife? How date you?" Atem said. "Why pharaoh I would think you saw your father's list for power." Bakura said smirking. "My father was a Worthy king. Dose that mean he was perfect? Of course not." Atem yelled. Bakura brought out Diabound. "It's even stronger now" Renita said. "Come, Andsite dragon" Andsite dragon came out. Evils ghosts started surrounding Atem. Then there was a glow. Mahad showed up.

"Mahad. You are back" Renita said. "Yes, I shall always protect the pharaoh" Mahad said. "Tell me Mahad, did my father really hurt innocent people to make the Millenium items?" Atem asked. "Your father didn't know that people were hurt in the creation of the Millenium items. I sensed darkness in the Millenium ring. I looked at the spell used to create the items and I reported it to your father. He was as shocked as I was. The next day, prince Yugi was born" Mahad said.

"I remember that day, Akhenamkhanen was asking not to let his sins get passed down to his son. That's what he meant. Hours later I had the prince" Renita said. "Don't you see Bakura, my father had no idea this even happened until years later." Atem said.

"I don't care because I was the only one who survived that day. I saw everything" Bakura said. "I will have my revenge. Zork will rise" Renita was shocked. "Not Zork" she said. "You know about him?" Atem asked. "I had a vision about him the day you gave me my puzzle. I know what he plans but I don't know how to stop him" Renita said. They continued fighting. Mahad was knocked down. He was about to get destroyed but a creature that looked like Mana appeared. "Dark magician girl? Who sommoned you?" Mahad asked. "A former student of yours" dark magician girl said. "Mana, you did it" Mahad said. "Thought you could use the help" Mana said. "You always were my top student" Mahad said. Mana went next to Atem and Renita. Soon Isis, shimon, seto, and Karim showed up.

They joined the flight. Bakura was able to get the Millenium scale. He used it to fuse two of his monsters. Luckily they were able to get rid Diabound. Bakura turned into sand. Everyone thought it was over. As Atem went to grab the Millenium items that Bakura stole, Akhnaten came in. "Don't touch those items" he said. Shida came by. He looked weak. "Akhnaten betrayed us" Shida said. Akhnaten used a freeze spell on everyone and took all of the remaining items. He placed them on the stone slab. A dark presence came over him. "So the creator of the Millenium items has come back" Zork said. "Serve me and I will grant you one wish" Zork said. "My only wish is that my son seto will take the thrown" Akhnaten said. Seto was shocked. "Akhnaten is my father? No it can't be" he thought. Zork turned Akhnaten into a priest of darkness. The freeze spell wore off. Akhnaten was trying to get Seto to join him.

"Seto, I really am your father. You deserve the thrown. My brother was Akhenamkhanen" Akhnaten said. "That's what my father meant that day" Renita said. "Renita?" Atem said. "The day I came here, he called Akhnaten prince. He corrected him saying he was a priest" Renita said. "I didn't even know my father had a brother" Atem said. "Yes, witch means should anything happen to the current pharaoh, seto automatically takes the thrown." Akhnaten said.

Somehow Bakura returned. He told Akhnaten that he would make sure Zork came. Akhnaten made a portal and sent seto though it and went through it himself. Atem tried to fallow but Diabound blocked him. The room became covered in darkness.
