Epilogue: 181108 Part 9

The last gift to Jimin was unknown completely to him.  There was only one person who knew about it and he was tight lipped.  He was saving it for a very special time.  It would be his declaration to Jimin and the world just what Jimin meant to him.

Would it cause controversy?  Yeah, it did.  Did many people read many things into it?  Yeah, they did.  Did most of them get it right?  Yeah, they did.  Did Jimin and Jungkook really respond to it?  No, they didn't.  They didn't need to.  It was clear as day if you were willing to see it as it was and at its face value.  They weren't hiding anything, they just couldn't say anything.  This was as close as they could come.

Jungkook caught some flack from the Company about it because it just about crossed that border into dangerous territory for the group.  In Korea, many really weren't sure what to make of it other than "It's a cute video about two friends" because  thinking anything else about was taboo.  Speaking out loud about what it actually was unacceptable.

Jimin and Jungkook caught some flack about their relationship with the group because it was becoming almost intrusive in interviews to the group.  Too many interviewers wanted to know about the video or the trip.  Interviews began to focus on Jimin and Jungkook to the dismay of the others.  Sometimes they would get lost in their own worlds in interviews and to the consternation of the members they had to be redirected back to reality...not JiKook reality.

They do love to play with each other and they love to show it in different ways.  During a recent trip this summer Jungkook began filming Jimin while they both walked along a beach in Saipan.  RM wondered what the two were doing and tweeted about it.  About an hour later Jungkook tweet this.

Jungkook could be heard laughing in the background.
