Yemi Jones

Today is my birthday and I'm heading home from a day with my sister. Bentley said he had something for me when I got home. The twins stayed with my sister for the night. I got home and opened the door. "Baby? I'm home." Silence. "Babe? Where are you?" I heard moaning in the other room. No, he's not serious. I walked into the living room to find him screwing Yolanda. I covered my mouth in shock and hurt.

"What are you doing?!" I screamed at them. They both scrambled and tried finding clothes. "How could you do this to me?! After everything I did for you!!" He slipped on his boxers. "Baby-" I cut him off. "No, don't baby me, you piece of shit! After I asked you, I looked you in the eyes and you still lied to me." Tears ran down my eyes. Yolanda just sat there with her legs crossed. "You were supposed to be my best friend and you're being a home wrecker."

She scoffed at me. "It's not my fault you can't please your man." I punched her right in the face, causing her to fall. "Hey!! Don't hit her!!" I looked at the man in front of me, dumbfounded. "Is she your girlfriend now? You're just gonna leave me for this bitch?" I pointed at the bleeding fuck on the floor. "She's not a bitch and yes I am." I stumbled back. "You're breaking our family apart, Bentley." He sighed, looking down. "I'm not happy with you, Yemi, I haven't been happy since the girls were born."

I couldn't believe I was hearing this. "How long have you guys been doing this?" I asked. He didn't answer but helped Yolanda off the floor. "Tell me how fucking long!!!" I screamed. "Almost 5 years." She smirked through the blood. I felt bile in my throat. Five years, five whole years. My head started spinning. "I want a divorce, Yemi, I can give you visitations to the girls but that's it." I snapped my head to him.

"I'm taking my girls, I'll go to court if I have too." He is not taking them away from me. "Just sign the papers." He placed them on the table as he cradled his slut. Tears just kept pouring out my eyes as I looked at the papers. "What did I do to deserve this?" I signed the papers and got up. "You can keep your money, I don't want any of it."

With that I walked out the house but he stopped me. "What." I snapped at him, folding my arms.

"I want my ring back."

I scoffed, throwing it at him walking away. Hopping into my car, I sped off. I pulled up to my sister's house and knocked on the door until her husband opened the door. "Yemi what happened?" I didn't say anything. Walking into the house, I leaned on the counter, trying to catch my breath, tears flowing from my eyes. "I'll get Nina." I didn't know what to do with myself.

"What the hell happened?" She came up to me. "He divorced me." I forced out as she wiped my face with a napkin. My hiccups stopped my breathing for a second. "Calm down, the kids are asleep, we don't want to wake them." She sat me on the couch as I rocked myself. "Now tell me what happened."

"He's been unhappy since the kids came and instead of telling me, he and Yolanda screwed around for almost five years. He said he doesn't love me anymore and he wants to kids but he's not having them, I'll fight in court if I have too." Nina bounced her legs. " I knew that bitch wasn't a real friend." I told her that I signed the papers already. "They'll favor for you, I know a guy, he owes me a favor. He's a great lawyer."

I shook my head. "I don't know, Nina." She hugged me close. "He's the CEO of Derek Knight Law Firm." I looked at her. "I can't think straight right now, Nina." I felt another lump in my throat, just thinking about divorcing the man that I gave my all too. "I understand, I'm sorry that he did this to you but don't worry, I'll beat that bitch when I see her." She kissed my cheek. Marcus brows were frowned and his jaw clenched. "I really thought he wasn't a bad guy, they way he treated you around us. I should have known."

Marcus was the last born for his mother. There was 6 boys and he was the baby. He always wanted a sister to love and then he got me. He really did treat me like one too. "It's okay, Marcus, don't beat yourself up." I hugged him. "Don't worry, you're a strong woman, you can get through anything." He kissed my head. He was right. I know I was sad right now but this man is probably planning to have my kids taken away while I sob.

I'll have time to be a mess later. "Call that lawyer guy, I don't care how much he charges, I have the money." Nina shook her head. "The things I saved him from, money is the last thing you should be worried about."

The next morning I woke up to yelling. What was going on. Rushing to the door, I saw Bentley standing there with suitcases in his hand. "You have some nerve to be at my house with this slut." Nina snapped at him. "I'm no slu-" A loud slap echoed. "Did I ask you to speak bitch? I don't fucking think so." I looked at the clock. The kids were still sleeping.

"What's going on?" They all turned to me. "You look awful, Yemi, what happened?" Yolanda smirked. "Well sorry that I don't look like goddess, when the man you thought loved you, wants a divorce you tend to look like shit." Bentley sighed before slipping the bags in. "I'm sorry, Yem-" I grabbed the bags. "You're not sorry, asshole."

I turned my back to them. "What about the kids? I want to see them." I turned back to him. "Well if you look at the time, you can clearly see that they're sleeping." He looked down. "I want custody of my kids, Yemi." Over his head body. "I don't want my kids with a cheater and his slut. You can have visitation right but that's it. I'll see your ass in court." I closed the door in his face.

"We're going to win this."
