I couldn't wait for tonight, to take the beauty out. I was looking over a case when my door slammed opened and Yemi ex charged in looking angry. "Sir, I tried stopping him." Kirssy rushed out, following behind. "It's okay, Krissy, go back to your desk." She hesitated but left, closing the door behind her.
Looking into his angry eyes, I calmly leaned back, watching his fist ball up. "Is there something I can help you with, Mr. Jones?" His breathing was uneven. "You stay the hell away from my wife." I gave him a confused look. "I'm confused, your wife? Last time I checked, you don't have a wife." He slammed his baby hands on my desk. "You know damn well what I'm talking about!!" I looked at his hands then at him.
"I have no idea and careful, this is mahogany." He laughed, no humor in his voice. "Are you mocking me or something?" I waited for him to finish. "Answer me, dammit!!!" I smirked. "Oh, I thought that was a rhetorical question."
He backed away from my desk. "Now will you tell me why you burst into my office, unannounced?" I asked getting up and removed my blazer. This is expensive. "I want you to leave Yemi alone! She doesn't need a man in her life." I smirked. "No, she needs a man in her life, but she got you instead."
His veins started showing. "Don't worry, I'll take really good care of her." Somehow it was fun getting under his skin. "Now if you're done embarrassing yourself, I suggest you leave." I opened the door for him. "I'm not someone to mess with." He came close to my face. I was backing down to this pussy. I looked him dead in his eyes. "So am I. Now leave." With that he walked out my office.
How can you cheat on the most beautiful woman who loved you with her all then fight for her when you forced her out your life? I picked up my phone and texted Yemi.
'Can't wait for tonight 😘' Almost instantly I got a reply.
'I can't wait either, see you then 😉'
I found myself grinning at the text. "Sir, your client is here." I looked up to see Krissy looking at me weirdly. "Sir, are you okay?" Smiling, I nod. "I'm more than fine." She nods, still frowning. "Sure." I rolled my eyes at her. "Just send my client in."

Yemi WilsonI was a single mom, going on a date. "Mummy looks so pretty!" Zania gushed. "Thank you so much, baby." She grinned. "Yemi he's here." Nina came to me. "You look so beautiful." She smiled at me. "Now go, he's waiting."
I made my way to the door to see him talking to the girls. When did they get down here? "Are you going to make my mummy smile again? She doesn't smile that much." Zamia told him. "Yeah, there's so much that we can do." Zania shook her head. Derek chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll make her smile. Don't worry."
"Hi Derek." He looked at me and his mouth dropped. "Don't you look gorgeous." He stood to his feet, walking to me. "Simply beautiful." He kissed the back of my hand gently, stirring into my eyes. Don't blush. "You look handsome." He smirked, holding my waist. "AW" We turned to the girls who were gushing at us.
"Go have fun before they want to come as well." Nina waved.

I sat down sipping my wine, looking around the place until I caught his gaze. "What?" He smirked and shook his head. "I'm sorry if I'm awkward, it's been a while since I went on a date." Derek leaned forward. "Tell me about yourself." I thought about it. "Well you know my name, I have two beautiful kids, Zania and Zamia. I love weddings, everything about them just make me feel happy so I opened my own store."He nods. "I also like action movies and cooking. What about you?" Derek smirked. "Believe it or not but I love cooking as well." I would never have thought. "Wow, who taught you?" He looked down and shook his head. "You sister did." My sister?
"How do you know my sister, if you don't mind me asking." He sipped his drink. "This is where it gets sad. I was an orphan and I was bullied for it. She was the only one that stood up for me. She stuck by me and I was grateful. She told me that her parents had money and she could take care of me. Me being a dumb kid, I was happy because finally someone wanted me, even though she was 10 and I was 5. She looked older to me back then." He chuckled and continued.
"Growing up, I did my best at school so I could get a scholarship and won't have to burden Nina. I thought by the time I reached 18, she would stop but she never did. When I got the scholarship, she was so proud of me. I know we were around the same age but she was a mom to me. She was there for everything. I was in her debt." Wow, she did all that for him.
"Now look at me, more than able and it's all because she knew I could do more. That's when she called me, I knew I couldn't let her down." He smiled at me. "Wow." Was all I could say. He nods, raising a brow. "Yeah it's a lot." He had it hard. "That sounds like Nina, I'm happy she did it." Derek nods. "I thank her everyday."
Maybe he wasn't bad. "I'm glad you asked me out. It feels good just talking to someone." I was actually feeling light. "Want to take a walk?" I nod. "Sure, why not." We got up and he paid for out food and we walked out. The air was cold, good thing I brought my jacket. "You look free." He smiled. "I am free." I was going out my comfort zone. "Let's get a drink." He thinks about it. "Sure."
We walked into the bar and that was the last thing I remembered.
