Chapter 12

🌸Joy's POV🌸

Finally it's break time. I feel quite exhausted and I don't know why. After Math,Biology is next then it's break so I can't be exhausted because of just 2 subjects,right? Me and Anne sat at our usual table at the cafeteria and I placed my face on my hands.

"You okay?" Anne asked.

"Yeah. just exhausted I guess."

"You have some explaining to do sister." Anne said then I remembered.

"Can I please explain later? My head hurts."

"Oh c'mon Joy,just a brief explanation,please."

"Fine." I said as I lift my face up and looked at her.

"Me and Sir Adam are a couple now,there." I said.

Anne didn't say a word,she's just staring at me like I'm lunatic that just escaped a mental asylum.

"Haha nice joke Joy,now c'mon tell me the truth."

"That IS the truth,Anne. I'm your best friend,remember? You can tell if I'm lying or not." She nodded then gave a small sigh.

"Since when?"

"The day after the tutoring."

"Why didn't you tell me?" She said,sounding hurt.

"You do now that having a teacher/student relationship is very dangerous,right? We need to keep it a secret. Sorry Anne,hope you understand." She stood up then hugged me.

"I'm not angry,I'm your best friend,I can't get mad at you."

"Thanks." She sat back on her seat and neither of us talked for a couple of minutes.

"Elle said she wants JM back,why didn't you react over that?" She said.

"We need to keep our relationship a secret,remember?"

"So that explain the shouting in the classroom awhile ago?" I nodded.

"Speaking of the devil,Joy." Anne said pointing at the back gate of the cafeteria.

I turn around and saw Elle standing there,looking for something. Or someone.

"I'll just talk to her." I said and Anne nodded.

I stood up from my seat and walked over to Elle. As soon as she saw me walking towards her,she ran immediately to me and hugged me.

"Woah. Easy,what's happening?" I asked.

"He doesn't love me anymore." She said with a choke sob.

"How can you say? I know deep inside he still loves you,Elle." This hurts so much.

"He already has a new girlfriend,Joy!"

"Really?" Play it cool.

"Yes. He told me in his classroom awhile ago"

"Oh. So you're going to give up?" I asked.

"Never. I will find this so called 'girlfriend' of his and I will make sure that they will NOT have a happy ending." I gulped after I heard that.

"Don't you think it's quite...evil? for you to do,Elle?"

"No! That's not even enough for her to steal MY Jerson." I should say that Elle,not you.

"Well,okay if that's what you want then..."

After talking for a couple more minutes,Elle went home because she'll "cry out of her misery",that's what she told me. I went back to me and Anne's table.

"What was that all about?"

"She's just emotional about what happened and what Sir Adam said to her."

"You look...nervous while you're talking to her,what's the deal?"

"It's not easy to talk to your boyfriend's ex girlfriend while she talks about having revenge on his ex boyfriend's girlfriend now."

"Oh---WHAT!?" Shit.

"Uhh...she said,uhh---"

"She wants to have revenge on you!?"

"Well,yeah she does."

"Oh no she didn't!"

"Hey easy! I'm still alive,see?"

"You do know that you need to tell this to Sir Adam,right?"

"What!? No! He'll get worried."

"Well you guys need to trust each other,tell each other everything that's the point in having a relationship."

"Guess you're right..."

"I'm always right,sistah!" Said Anne with a saluting pose.

"Does he have a class right now? We can go to him if you want." Anne said.

"Yeah,he's teaching right now. I'm going to his flat later so I'll just say everything there."

"Okay,if you insist."
