Chapter 9

🌸Joy's POV🌸

Math class,yey! Such joy! (No sarcasm is included here,trust me.)

Me and Anne sat at our usual chairs and waited for Sir Adam to arrive. I don't really know if we're gonna feel awkward since we're now a...couple. I mean,you're boyfriend is just there teaching your class about some confusing Math shit. But since I'm now his girlfriend,then I'll try my best to get a high grade in this class.

"Good Afternoon class,so sorry to be late." Sir Adam walked in,looking tired and by the looks of it,he ran towards here.

"So. Like I said yesterday,you guys will be having a quiz today am I right?" Half of the class said "no".

"Nice try,get a one whole sheet of paper and answer the following equations that I will write on the board." He said as everyone groaned.

I pulled my pad paper out of my bag and scribbled my name on. I looked at the board and saw that Sir Adam already finished writing. Fast writer,he is. I tried to answer number one and seemed to finished it without a sweat. After answering all of the questions,I finally answered everything,which shocked me. Like I said,I'm not good at Math and that also means that I can't finish my quizzes in time,but I managed to this time. Then,something was dropped on my table and saw that it was a piece of paper.

I looked at Sir Adam and saw that he's smirking at me. I pointed my tongue out at him and he chuckled and he shook his head.

"What's so funny,Sir Adam?" Johanna,one of my friends,asked.

"Nothing,nothing."

"Oh c'mon sir,spill!" Luis said.

"I'm just...talking to my girlfriend,s'all." He said as he looked at me and I blushed.

"The Elle girl?" Johanna asked.

"Y-Yeah." Sir Adam said.

It actually hurts to hear that. I can't blame him though,I know that he's doing this for us and he need to protect our relationship by hiding it. I looked at him again and I saw him mouthed "Sorry". I gave him a smile and two thumbs up,knowing that I'm completely fine. He nodded then gave me a wink.

"Congrats to all of you since no one has failed the test. You're all dismissed." Everyone stood up and rushed towards the door. I asked Anne to wait for me in the car.

"You did a good job on the test." JM said as he fix his stuffs.

"Yeah. I can't believe it actually,since I suck at Math." I said then he patted his lap,motioning for me to sit,so I did.

"Practice makes perfect. You have something to do today? We can go to my place?" He said.

"Oh actually...uhh...well---" How the hell am I gonna say that I'm going to the mall with his ex?

"Spill! Don't be scared." He said.

"I'm meeting Elle at the mall today..." I said. His lap stopped bouncing,maybe something's wrong?

"And...?"

"She said that she just wants to talk about something. That's all."

"Okay? Can't you just stop by the flat of your boyfriend." I'm so not gonna get used with that word.

"We already talked yesterday,sorry. How bout tomorrow? We can do something tomorrow!" I said,trying to cheer him up.

"Fine. We'll go tomorrow." He said with a pout. Not actually a pout,more of a duckface actually.

"Well,I need to go now,bye." I said as I hugged him and went towards the door.

"Hey!"

"Yeah?"

He didn't answer,instead he just tapped his cheek with his pointing finger.

"Urgh fine!" I huffed.

I walked back to him and placed a quick peck on his cheek.

"The other cheek," He said.

"Are you serious?"

"Do I look like I'm joking?" He said with a smirk.

"No,you look like a rapist." He laughed.

"A HOT rapist." He said,moving his palms up and down his torso.

I placed a quick kiss on his cheek and mumbled a goodbye then turned around but he pulled me back.

"JM,I need to go,Elle is waiting for---" He cut me off when he placed his lips on mine.

There it is again...sparks. I will never ever get tired of feeling that tingling sensation.

"Be safe. Bye." He said when we pulled away.

"Bye." I said with one last peck on the lips.

I went outside towards the parking lot where I saw Anne in her car.

"Took you long enough." She said.

"Sorry. Let's go?"

"Where?"

"The mall."

"Mall? Why?"

"I'm just gonna meet someone,wanna come?"

"Sure."

At exactly 4:30,the doors of the Ice Cream shop me and Anne are in opened and Elle stepped inside. She was wearing a white "YOLO" tank top,bright red skaters skirt and leather boots.

"Joy!" She said then gave me a bone crushing hug.

"Heyya. This is Anne,my best friend." I said and Elle hugged her too."

"So,what are we gonna do today?" I asked when all of us are inside our booth.

"Well,like I said yesterday,I wanna talk about something..."

"Well come on then,spill." I said.

"It's about Jerson." I gulped.

"W-What about him?" I asked.

"I want to get him back."
