Chapter 16

🌸Lourence's POV🌸

I can tell,JM really loves Joy. You can see it in his eyes. They say the eyes are the windows to your soul and just by looking at it,you can tell what kind of person he or she is. I've been friends with JM for who knows how long. I know him,he's the type of person who won't stop- and I mean won't unless he gets what he wants. We first went towards Anne's house,to tell her what happened. We stopped in front of her house and JM knocked on the door. Minutes later,the door opened by a man.

"Can I help you?" He asked.

"Uhh...yeah is Anne there?" JM asked.

"May I ask who you guys are?"

"Err...we're her friends."

"Let me call her." The man said.

He went up the stairs and came back minutes later with Anne.

"Sir Ad---" She said but JM hugged her in order to stop her from saying that he's her teacher.

"Let's go to my room." She said.

She lead us up the stairs and into a black door with the sign "Keep Out". When Anne opened it,a girl is sitting on her bed,reading a book.

"This is Johanna,my friend." She said. Me and JM said or greetings then sat at one of her bean bags.

"So...why are you guys here?" She asked.

"Well,we have something to tell you,don't panic."

"Ooookay? But can I ask why Sir Lourence is here,too? Not that I'm saying you're not welcome here,though." She said.

"I asked for his help since he's my best friend. Now,care to listen for my explanation?"

"Yeah,go ahead."

"Well,I was in my room making the tests when my phone rang and Joy is calling. I answered it and she's asking for help. Let me cut to the point...she's missing."

"She's what!?" Anne shrieked.

"Yeah. We need your help,let's search for her. I'll do whatever it takes just to find her,please."

"Yeah,'course I'll help."

"How did Joy called you Sir Adam? I thought teachers aren't allowed to give their phone numbers to students?" Johanna asked.

"Well...uh...actually---" JM stuttered.

"Their a couple. Don't tell it to anyone,end of story." I said and Johanna blushed.

"Let's start the search,shall we?" Anne asked and we all agreed.

We all hopped inside Jerson's car except for Johanna- since she's not really close to Joy and all -and we started the search. Anne said that we should go first to the hidden parts of the city and we all agreed. But to be honest,I hate this place.

There are no people here,torn posters all over the road,sidewalk full of dried leaves and buildings looking like it's been here even before Jesus is born.

"I officially hate this place." I muttered under my breath.

"Well,it is hidden so expect it to be like this." Anne said.

"Where do you think she is?" JM asked.

"You're asking us that? Dude this place looked like it's been here for a million years and it's big too,so we don't know where." I said.

After my speech,we heard a silent shout of "Help.". Jerson immediately stepped on the brakes,causing me to bump my head on the dashboard and Anne to fall down on her seat at the back.

"Sorry. Did you guys hear that?" Me and Anne just nodded,both dizzy.

"It's Joy." He said.

"How can you be so sure?" I said as I rub my forehead.

"I know her voice,it's Joy I'm sure." Then we heard it again.

Jerson opened his door and jumped out,me and Anne following behind.

"Joy? Joy where are you!?" Jerson shouted.

"Dude,that can't be Joy,maybe you just miss her and you thought it's her." I said. Then we heard a shout of "JM?"

"Shit." Anne muttered under her breath.

"Joy,where are you!?" JM shouted but got no response.

"She should be near us,we heard the shouting clear." Anne said.

"Or because this place is freaking quiet and I can even hear my blood flowing." I said.

"We should split up,that way we can find her easily." Me and Anne nodded.

We went to our own ways and started the search. I went towards one creepy looking building but found out that the door is locked. I was about to leave but then I felt something bump in my head and everything went black.

🌸Anne's POV🌸

This place is freaking creepy. It's scarier than seeing your grandmother naked. I don't really know where I'm going but I just kept walking. Sir Adam and Sir Lourence are now both out of my sight and I'm feeling quite scared. I first went towards something that looked like an abandoned cabin and tried to open the door- it's unlocked.

I went inside as all of the hair on my body stand,and looked around and I was not ready for what I saw.

The living room is freaking awesome. There is a flat screen TV just above the fireplace,a comfortable looking couch at the middle,a black recliner just beside the table. You won't imagine it to be like this since the outside looked abandoned. I walked farther and entered a door and saw the kitchen. It looked like it was a chef's kitchen. Someone is living here. I thought. I went upstairs and into one of the doors. I entered a pink room complete with furnitures and decorations. When I left the bedroom,I heard the front door open and I start to panic. I then heard footsteps coming up the stairs. I went back inside the room and looked around. I saw one large closet but that would be the first place this person would go to. I just crawled under the bed and remained silent. The bedroom door opened and I saw two pairs of feet enter.

"This is one good looking guy,boss." A deep voiced guy said.

"Shut up,you're not gay,are you?" A female voice asked. It sounds familiar.

"Straight as a ruler ma'am. Where do you want me to put him?" The guy asked.

"Just drop him at the floor,we can put him later with Joy." I gasped. A loud gasp.

I covered my mouth hard as the room went silent. Tears started flowing down my face as I start to get scared. A body then got dumped on the floor and saw that it was Sir Lourence,unconscious. This got me more nervous.

"Someone is inside,search for it!" The female voice asked.

"Yes boss." Then the guy left.

I can still see the other pair of feet inside the room. I still remained silent,not wanting to get caught. The bed then got heavy on me,signaling that the person is now on the bed.

"You can't hide there forever." The female voice said and she looked under the bed and I screamed.

This chapter is actually scaring me,hahaha.

Exams are now finished and I survived! That means I'll update normally again!

Please pray for me to pass the exams,please. :(
