Chapter 13

🌸Joy's POV🌸

"Would you like some cookies?" JM asked.

"Sure." He gave a small smile then went towards his kithcen.

We're here now at his flat and we're about to talk about the...problem with Elle. Minutes later,JM came back holding a plate of cookies on his right hand and a glass of milk on his left hand. He placed it on the table then sat down next to me.

"So...what are we gonna talk about?" He asked.

"About the shouting? Elle's confession?"

"Ohh...wait you knew about that?"

"Yeah,me and Anne are both standing just outside the door when it's all happening."

"Then how come---"

"We ran towards the lockers just before she opened the door. Any more questions?" I smirked.

"No,I think I'm good." Then we both laughed.

"She told me about that actually." I said after our laughs died down.

"She did?"

"Yeah. She even rode with us to school."

"Oh. What else did she say to you?"

"A while ago at the cafeteria she---"

"She...?"

"She told me that she'll have revenge on your girlfriend."

"WHAT?!"

"Yeah. Quite scary actually,you know?" He didn't answer.

After minutes of is just staring into each other's eyes,he then gave me a bone crushing hug which actually surprised me.

"I will never let anyone and I mean anyone hurt you,do you understand?"

"Yeah. Thanks."

"That's it? That's all I get for promising you that I will protect you?"

"Well...what do you want then?"

He released me from his hug then looked at me as he point to his lips.

"You are unbelieveable!" Then gave him a really quick peck.

"That'll do,thanks!"

We sat back down on the couch and watched Shameless together.

🌸JM's POV🌸

I suddenly heard the doorbell ringing so I sat up and stretched. I didn't realize that I've fallen asleep on the couch...with Joy. Wait,Joy's still here? I looked at my watch and saw that it was already 11:36 PM. I sighed then went to the door. I looked the peep hole and I saw her. I immediately ran towards Joy and shook her.

"What?" She asked groggily.

"Ssshh. Hey listen,Elle's just outside the door and you need---"

Ding dong

"See? Go to my room- I think you already know where it is -then go back to sleep if you want,okay?"

"Okay." She said as she gave me a kiss on the cheek and went upstairs.

When Joy is finally gone,I went back to the door and opened it,acting sleepy.

"Finally,I'm freezing here!"

"May I ask what the hell are you doing here in the middle of the night?"

"Can't I go to my boyfriend's house whenever I want?"

"Elle,we broke up,what the hell are you talking about?"

"Haha,very funny boyfie." This girl is nuts.

"Elle stop it,okay? We broke up and I have a girlfriend now and that's not you. I love her and not you! I don't want to sound harsh but if that's the only way to shut you up well then so be it!" I screamed. She just stared at me,looking dumb.

"Why don't you love me anymore?"

"Because I have a girlfriend now,Elle. Please stop,we can be friends if you want?"

"No Jerson! I love you,please love me back!"

"Elle no,I have a girlfriend and I love her,how many times do I have to say that?"

"Stop fooling yourself,Jerson."

"How many goddamn times do I have to fucking say that I don't love you anymore!?" That shut her up.

She stared at me for a couple more minutes then ran to the door,closing it with force. I sighed and ran my hands through my hair then went upstairs. I entered my room and saw Joy sleeping peacefully on my bed. I smiled,knowing that this girl is mine- not to sound creepy.

I walked to the bed and lied down next to her. She then wrapped her arms on me so I placed mine on her.

"Good night,I love you." I whispered to her as I kissed her forehead.

"Love you too." She mumbled. When I was slowly drifting off,one thought came to my mind,

I will love and protect this girl no matter what.
