Jason faced her head on, Ames smiled shyly at him and said,well what's so scary you have to show me?
Jason sat there in shock before replying, my face.
Oh what about it is scary?
I'm ugly.
No your not that bad looking it's a medical condition you have Jason.
It makes you unique.
Jason wasn't sure how to react, he gathered her in his arms, he held her close afraid if he let go she'd disappear.
He felt her lips gently brush against his cheek.
He took in a shaking breath, Ames I think I'm in love with you.
She giggled and said, I think I love you too.
Now let me show you something scary, she said before turning her head away.
She did something to her right eye and turned back towards Jason.
She held something in her hand, what's that?
Ames opened her hand and in it was an eye.
My fake eye.
Jason just now noticed her right eyelid was closed.
How'd you do that? He questioned.
I was born too early, I have a tracheotomy, when I was a baby, it helped me to breath.
Well I kept ripping it out, so the nurse turned up the  oxygen and I became blind.
So later on in my teen years I had an accident so the doctor took my right eye out, besides I never saw out of it anyways.
So they made me a fake eye so I look normal.
I have to get it polished twice a year and every few years I have to get a new fake eye.
Wow!!
Yeah,she turned her head and put the fake eye back in.
Jason looked at her with love in his eyes.
Ames will you stay here with me forever, please?
She chewed on her bottom lip before saying,  I can't Jason, Ames felt his body tense up.
But you are more then welcome to come live with me.
Idk I'd have to talk to mother about that.
Oh?
Yeah.
They're moment was ruined when they heard commotion outside the cabin.
