The following morning after breakfast they headed to the courthouse and had a quick courteous marriage.
30 minutes later they were hitched.
When they got home they made sweet love to each other.
After which they took a nap, Ames woke up first and went into the living-room to watch tv.
Jason woke with a start, he was worried not finding Ames in bed.
He heard the tv and she sighed in relief.
He came to her and sat with her on the couch.
Ames turned and smiled sweetly at him.
He kissed her cheek, Ames laid her head on his chest while watching Netflix, stranger things.
They sat in silence watching the tv.
After sitting for a couple hours  binge watching the show Ames got up off the couch and made lunch for them.
Jason came up behind her while she was cooking Mac & cheese.
He wrapped his strong arms around her waist.
While they ate lunch Ames was lost in thought.
Jason became worried about her.
What's wrong?
I'm just worried about the surgery again.
I'm here for you my love, he said taking her hand in his.
I'll just feel useless not being able to do anything.
You're not useless.
She gave him a faint smile.
When is your operation?
Tomorrow.
Jason noticed she was crying, he got up and lifted her out of the chair she sat in and took her into the living room.
He placed her on the couch and wiped her tears from her face.
Jason felt bad seeing her so upset, he didn't know what to do.
So he just held her against his chest.
She cried for a good 45 minutes, she finally settled down and fill asleep in Jason's arms.
