    A Special Friend

It had been a couple of days since that 'revelation day'. That day was arguably the most weird day ever of my life. All the information that Morgan had fired upon us, still stung. We were trying our best to fit into the story but It was a lot to take in, and I was not the only one behaving like this

Stiles and Alice were abnormally quiet  after that day. AIice remained in her room most of the time and kept all the things to herself, while Stiles remained in the lounge and kept staring at his band all the time.

He was the most confused of us all, may be it had something to do with the fact that, out of the three of us, he knew all about the bands. He was the one who had recognized them when they appeared from that ball six years ago. He knew more about them then me and Alice.

We made an extensive research about these bands, going through every unusual incident happened in this country in the last century, but we never came across such a case, involving a Werewolf. And when we raised this point in front of Morgan he simply said "Kid, there was a single newspaper for the whole town at that time and Damion's father was the CEO"

This explained a lot of stuff like why didn't anybody know about Damion? why people still believed that Werewolf was just a myth?

Anyhow, still it was by far the most bizarre conversation I have ever had, and I am sure Alice and Stiles shared the same point of view.

I was lost in these thoughts when my phone rang, It was Haley. I was a little surprised because I was not expecting her. Still I answered it.

"Hi, whats up?" I asked, trying to clear my mind.

" The ceiling" she replied, bringing a smile to my face.

" So what are you doing right now?" She asked casually.

"Umm.. nothing, just chilling" I don't know why I said that because I was hell far from chilling, and may be she inherited it from her father, she was really hard to deceive.

"O yeah?" she demanded, and I could picture her face with her one eyebrow raised, wearing a proud smile. In our meetings she had used this look a number of times.

"OK, I was just trying to sleep" I corrected.

" Too late, mister! You are going to meet me at McDonald's in fifteen  minutes" and before I could say anything she hung up, and I was left there to be mocked by that busy tone.

It didn't bother or surprise me anymore because I had seen seen her doing way more serious SHIT than this. Like yesterday, she had punctured my car just so I would have to wait with her at college for her art class. So thinking that she was like this and I couldn't do anything about it, I put on a pair of jeans and hood, because it was October already and the nights had that chill with them.

I looked in Stiles room and found him sound asleep with a burnt pillow case near his bed, I smiled and went to see Alice. She was awake but she didn't wanna come with me so it was me alone.

I got my bicycle out. I always enjoyed this cool  breeze and whats a better way to enjoy it rather than on a bicycle, and I was at McDonald's in, surprisingly, less than 15 minutes.

She was sitting on a table on the far corner, in her T-shirt and jeans, writing something in a notebook or something.

"Hey, gorgeous' I said as I pulled out a chair for myself. She immediately closed that diary and tucked it in her bag. It was then she realized my words and looked at me "Are you flirting with me?" She asked chuckling.
