Chapter 13

On getting to school that morning, we were ready to surprise darling Kate with our little plan.

As planned, I got down from the car and just then I saw Kate's brother dropping her off, I walked up to them.

"Hey, Josh " I smiled.

"Hi, cat" he replied.

Ok, that sounds weird considering my name is Wendy not "cat". Well just so you know Drake and I call ourselves Nickelodeon names and funny enough his name is Drake which is why I call him Josh. And as for the reason he calls me "cat" I'm still yet to find out.

"Bye " Kate and I waved him off.

" let go" I said heading on the direction of the entrance .

"Wendy, Wendy  !" Someone called out.

I turned and saw Ryan waving at me to which I waved back with people looking at us.

"Lovely morning, how're you ?" he asked as he came closer.

"I'm fine " I replied ignoring the girls behind who were making noise and showing body language to attract Ryan's attention.

"In that case let me get going, hello miss " he said sending Kate a dazzling smiling that had girls around us swooning, unfortunately he left without noticing them.

We heard the girls grumbling about him not looking at them and Kate and I laughed at them and walked forward before Kate stopped.

"When and how did you start talking to one of the Ace without my knowledge ?" Kate asked.

"Well one of his besties is her neighbour "  a voice answered, the plan coming into action.

"What's that ?" Kate turned around totally ready to blast whosoever was eavesdropping. 

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah" she shrieked and jumped on Suzy and attracting people's attention.

"Suuuuzzzyy" she screamed, hugging her as they both laughed, oblivious of the students watching them.

When Kate finally calmed down and got off Suzy, she turned to me, "you knew ?"She accused.

"Umm, let's just say I was her ride to school " I replied.

"Why didn't you call or say anything, and since when did you arrive ?" She said to Suzy.

"Yesterday " Suzy replied with Kate giving her a nasty look.

"It's not me who didn't tell you, she's the one "Suzy pointed at me.

"Hey, don't blame me, I wanted it to be a surprise, I was expecting you to come to my place but when you texted I figured you weren't coming, so I was going to tell you but she stopped me, so you see it's not my fault "I replied smiling.

"What ever, so what were you saying ?" Kate said ready to go into the block, then she stopped dead in her tracks and turned around looking at Suzy.

"Did you say one of his besties is her neighbour ?" Kate asked.

"Yup" Suzy nodded.

"Are you serio......screw that, who is it ?" Kate asked.

"It's Dylan, right ?" Suzy turned to me to confirm.

"Shhh, reduce your voice" I scolded instead.

"Oh my God its true, Dylan is......" I rushed over and covered her mouth morphing the rest of her sentence.

"Are you planning my death ?" I asked.

" You and I both know if the girls hear that they'll be on my neck in less than an hour" I hissed lowly.
