Raven looked at Goldenglow's healer den once again to see that Huntress was up looking way better, almost fully healed, and learning a lot about being a healer wolf and what you need. Raven's stomach hurt, she missed being the mentor of Huntress. She remembered her mentor was Stormleaf, but the training season for her was short, but yet she learned a lot. Raven was confused, she remembered that the wolf Dark Lord came into her dream and erased her past memory. She would've remembered it, she has amazing memory. Raven decided to visit Huntress and Goldenglow.
"Hey you both." Raven greeted.
"Hello." the two healer wolves replied in unison.
"How's Huntress doing?" she asked.
"Great! In fact she's so focused and learning so quickly that she may be a full pack member healer wolf by tomorrow!" Goldenglow answered excitedly.
"Great!" Raven padded over and licked Huntress's head. "Hey uh Goldenglow may I please speak to you in private?" Raven asked.
"Yeah sure." Goldenglow followed Raven behind the healer den. "What's up?" he asked. I have to tell him what Thunder's planning.
"Thunder is planning to kill Huntress if she doesn't accept to being his mate." Raven blurted out in a whisper.
"You're kidding?"
"Nope."
Goldenglow growled of annoyance at Thunder. "Fleabag." he snarled.
"Exactly. So please keep a close eye on your surroundings." Raven barked.
"I will, I promise." Goldenglow waved his tail and trotted back inside the healer wolf den. Raven sighed a relief and found Silverfur eating a pig alone on the big rock. She gathered her confidence to go over there and try talking to her. I really need to. Raven padded forward, her paws took her to the big rock with anxiety shooting through them.
"Hey Silverfur." she blurted out without control.
"Hey Raven." Silverfur's tail flicked in a nervous way. Does she believe Duke's lie that I hurt Huntress? Does she think I may hurt her?
"Are you okay? I swear I didn't hurt Huntress!" Raven growled at herself after talking. Stop assuming and blurting random dung out, you look stupid!
"It's not you. It's just that I'm nervous about this pack. Thunder's messing it up, I hope he's exiled but Duke won't do it. Duke's also messing it up." Silverfur shook her head with a sigh. Raven felt a giant wave of relief wash over her.
"I know. This pack is going downhill and turning into the second DarkPack." she woofed in agreement. Silverfur nodded and turned away, her eyes were sad and Raven could sense her mind was buzzing about Huntress. Raven felt a pang of sympathy, seeing your only daughter go through this may hurt a lot.As Raven was padding to the prey pile to get a snack, she sensed Goldenglow. She looked up to see him racing out of his den and to the herb patch. Wait! The healer den is left unprotected for Huntress! Thunder had just padded into the den arena with a pig in his jaws, he was on a solo patrol. This isn't good. Raven watched him carefully, very stiff, waiting to see what he was going to do. She tensed up as soon as she saw him drop his pig at Duke's alpha den and head over to the healer den. Raven made sure that Silverfur was seeing this, but she was gone, probably hunting. Dung! Raven's tail started bristling anxiously. Huntress was busy soaking moss in a frosty cold pool of water. Raven ranged her hearing and visioning over to the healer den to get a better image of what was happening. Thunder was at the entrance, barking for Huntress. Huntress's silver and white pelt gleamed as she stepped out into the overcast snowy light.
"What do you want?" she snarled.
"We're still mates you know." Thunder reminded in a harsh tone.
"Really?" Huntress snorted, "well that ended as soon as you ruined my life by throwing me into that tree with that dangerous cleft!" She lashed her tail harshly over Thunder's eyes.
"Are you sure you don't accept? Because you choose death over a mate like me?" Thunder warned.
"You're not going to kill me, besides, I do not want to be mates with someone like you. I choose Swift." Huntress barked. "Alright then." Thunder launched at her. Raven stopped ranging her senses and sprinted over. She didn't care if she were exiled and a lone wolf. She cared about Huntress right now, not some fleabag trying to kill her who will be hunting with DarkPack when he's dead. Thunder was about to make a killing bite for Huntress's neck. Her blindness was weakening her for when she fought back she couldn't, her paws would go all over the place, like flailing. Raven swooped Thunder off of Huntress and slammed him into the dusty ground. Thunder scored his claws down Raven's flank and a huge lightning bolt came out of him, knocking Raven off of her paws and causing severe pain in her head. She didn't give up though, her chaos powers caused her to kick Thunder into a thorn bush a long way away, blood dripping from deep claw marks from Raven's back paws. Thunder teleported back with a heavy sigh, slamming into her with his muscular body, knocking her down so he could kill her.
"She's carrying pups!" Huntress screeched, going the wrong direction.
"Like I care you blind dumb healer wolf trash!" Thunder snarled. Raven got back up with a grunt, and slammed Thunder back down again. Her chaos powers caused Thunder to have opened wounds all over, with very severe painful pain, and weakness, a lot of his blood spilled. Raven's wounds stung, she licked them clean as Thunder's head dropped limply to the forest floor. D-did I kill him? Raven's anxiety was rising, she quickly took Thunder away far into the big bramble patch and left him there. I'm so sorry HeavenPack, I didn't mean to. I was only defending Huntress...Raven trudged over to the wolves den and fainted from stress and grief. Goldenglow was back from collecting herbs and healer wolf tools and accessories.
"Huntress!" he called into his den. Huntress padded slowly out, aware of the drying bloodstains on the mossy ground which had a berry juice stain.
"Yes?" she rasped. Goldenglow didn't answer her, instead he stared at her with worry.
"Why is your voice so raspy? Have you caught an early chill-season cold?" He moved his paw to her flank and to near her chest, where her lungs were. Then he noticed the drying tears in her blind green eyes. "What's wrong?" he asked. "Thunder tried to kill me because I wouldn't accept to being his mate, then Raven saved me before I died and they fought so rough, Raven almost died and she is carrying pups. But then she might've killed Thunder. I sensed it all." Huntress shook her head, crunching up a dry brown leaf.
"Oh no..." Goldenglow murmured. Huntress sighed heavily and curled up in her nest, her eyelids getting heavy. Goldenglow put his accessories away very neatly.
"Huntress, tomorrow you are ready." He turned to her.
"What do you mean?" Her eyes opened again sleepily.
"What I mean is that you're becoming a full healer wolf pack member tomorrow. You learned quickly." Goldenglow barked. Huntress's eyes sparkled a little bit with excitement.
"Okay!" And with that, she fell asleep.Raven fell into her dreams as she was sleeping. She looked all around. A black she-wolf with hazel eyes, was padding through the forest with a dark gray he-wolf, who looked almost like a lighter copy of the she-wolf. What is this?
"Ah there she is!" the she-wolf barked. She smelled of StormPack. Am I in the wrong dream? Raven questioned in her thoughts. The dark gray he-wolf dipped his head respectfully with the she-wolf and licked Raven's cheeks.
"Uhh what?" Raven asked the two mysterious wolves.
"We are Blackstorm's parents." the she-wolf assured Raven.
"And? I have nothing to do with Blackstorm." She wondered what these wolves were getting to.
"You may think that way," the he-wolf began, "but you may not believe us, he is your father." Raven's pelt ruffled up. "What, is this nonsense?!" she growled. "Sorry, I had a rough day." Raven apologized.
"It's fine, dear. We'll show you the proof." the he-wolf woofed. The she-wolf and he-wolf walked together through a tunnel of stars with Raven behind them. White starry fog clogged up the air and faded showing Blackstorm and a black and white she-wolf together who Raven didn't know.
"The wolf Dark Lord erased your memory because he knew that Thunder would be born and that Duke, well.. he supports DarkPack." the black she-wolf suddenly stated. Raven knew that the wolf Dark Lord erased some of her memory! The fog came by again and faded, showing StormPack's pups den. The black and white she-wolf, who Raven discovered was named Violet, had pups attached to her. Lupo, Fenix, Katie, Flower, Goldenglow, and I! Raven turned to her grandparents.
"They really are my parents!" she gasped. Her grandparents didn't say anything but nod.Another scene played, this time with Duke and the Dark Lord. "Duke, you are leading well." Dark Lord barked in a rough tone.
"Thank you, I'm going to make that pup of Primrose's alpha male after I die." Duke bowed and stood with pride.
"Great choice. And if that Huntress doesn't accept to it, she will have consequences, tell him that sometime, okay?" Dark Lord snapped.
"Yes sir." Duke waved his tail and dipped his head. That traitor!
"I'm so glad you killed your old alpha. You followed my lie to tell every wolf that he died of sickness." Dark Lord snickered.
"Ah yes." Duke laughed.
I can't believe this.
"I'm leaving FrostPack tomorrow when I get the chance to, are you telling Frostcrow, Twinkle, and my siblings?" Raven asked.
"That's on you." Raven's grandparents faded into mist after they replied to her one last time.
