Chapter 7

Katie's blood kept spilling and Raven watched as Goldenglow's body kept lighting up in a golden way but fading as a shield surrounded Katie.
"What's the point?" Flower barked, padding up to them.
"What do you mean what's the point? This is your own sister! I mean our own sister!" Raven swatted her paw gently over Flower's shoulder.
"I mean, Goldenglow's healing isn't working. Don't you find that odd?" Flower sniffed and narrowed her eyes.
"I mean yeah, it's even more odd the fact that Katie has a random shield surrounding her!" Raven lashed her tail to Goldenglow's direction.
Goldenglow scrunched up his nose and turned to face the two she-wolves, Raven's other packmates were watching all of them with sadness and wonder.
"What's wrong?" Flower asked.
"I can't quite figure this out, but I do have one thing I discovered.." Goldenglow sniffed at Katie's wound and looked up at the midday sky. "Katie was born to be a healer wolf, and I was born to be a normal pack member." He gasped at his own words after speaking.
Raven's packmates and WolfFang's pelts ruffled up and they gasped.
Flower and Raven's eyes widened.
"You're kidding?" Raven gaped.
"No I am not, I'm dead serious." Goldenglow's breathing and words were shaken with anxiety.
"So the ranks are going to change?" Twinkle exclaimed.
"Nope, they're going to stay, but this means Katie has a little bit of knowledge on healing powers." he confessed.
Katie's body turned blue and silvery mist swirled around her which caught the attention of everyone. She shrunk into a wolf pup size, with a halo topping her head.
"Is she going to HeavenPack?!" Lupo raised his voice in worry.
"No! She's healing- except- there's a disfunction.." Goldenglow's voice trailed away in shock.
Raven's eyes widened again and she pawed at Katie's silvery mist.
Katie disappeared.

"She did go to HeavenPack!" Lupo circled around the area sniffing at every inch of her scent.
"No she did not." Goldenglow assured.
Katie appeared again, her body curled up and she was asleep.
"Katie?! Katie! Wake up!" Raven's eyes were starting to turn on the waterworks, she pawed at her stomach.
Katie's eyes opened and she groaned, her tail started to wag in an excited way.
"Uhh, why is she a puppy?" Flower murmured in a slightly rude tone.
"I told you there was a disfunction.. we need.. Fenix.. for this.." Goldenglow groaned and sighed heavily, plopping himself down in an exhausted way.
"We need to keep moving." Raven's body swirled out dark mist and her packmates looked energetic again.
"Thank you." they murmured in unison.
Goldenglow stood Katie between his front paws, "we will all take turns carrying her till we can find Fenix or some wolf who has the power to change her back." He dived his muzzle down to Katie's scruff, letting her neck fur brush his nose as he picked her up in his jaws. She dangled and swatted her little paws at Raven's tail. Raven had to admit, she was adorable.

Raven sighed at the majestic sight, they had made it to the cliff. A wave of electricity shot through her, and she gasped at it. Snowy looked at her.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah, I don't know what that was." Raven shook her head and assured him with a lick over his ear.
Goldenglow had put Katie down for a little bit between his paws. She was trying to get free.
"Oh come on, let her explore." Flower snapped at her brother.
Goldenglow grunted, "you better watch her then. I have to take a quick break."
Katie wiggled free and bounced around on her paws, letting them free. She sniffed all around and rolled in a leaf pile.
"Be careful!" Raven hollered, getting closer.
"I can handle her, thanks." Flower snorted and got in front of Raven.
Katie looked at them and stayed still for a few seconds, then she raced towards Raven and slid on her paws at a short stop. Her paws slipped and she whimpered, her body hanging off of the cliff while her claws struggled to dig themselves into the edge to try and help her hang on. Raven's mouth dropped and she skidded over, before she could get a grip of Katie's scruff, she got knocked to the ground. Flower smirked.
"I can handle her myself!" she repeated.
Raven groaned, "what is wrong with you?"
Raven's other packmates were frozen, their paws were shaking but wouldn't take them anywhere because Flower's shock power had gotten to them.
Her tail thumped and she got up with a loud snarl. Her heart was pumping fast and strong. Her paws lifted her, and she was leaping, Raven's blue eyes turned into a red. She got larger, and her claws were long and sharp. Black mist surrounded her and black and red horns grew on her forehead. She scraped her sharp claws over Flower's back, getting satisfaction by hearing a whimper, Flower was trying to kill Katie, as Katie was floating in the air about to fall, with blood tumbling down like a waterfall. Raven landed on top of Flower, black wings sprouted out of her back and a bird's shriek sounded in the air. Flower's white pelt turned into a black and her purple flower crown turned red, her hazel eyes turned into an evil yellow. Flower's claws sharpened and she dug them into Raven's stomach.
"You will not kill me." she growled.
Raven formed a large black wolf paw with her strength and powers, and it slammed into Flower's head, causing her flower crown to be drenched in blood and fall down to the rest of her face. Raven's wings pounded harshly at Flower's stomach, causing her to whimper of pain. Flower shot out red ugly flowers, making Raven bleed and sear of pain. She fought back, making holes in Flower and letting blood ooze out of them. Flower groaned and became larger, battering Raven with harsh blows of poison, and inserting more of it into her wounds. The poison struck at Raven's heart and she vomited blood once, turning to Flower and swiping her off of the ground with her back paws, wings flapping, and threw her down off of the cliff, into a sharp pointed stone. She watched as Flower tumbled and whimpered of defeat and weakness, and slammed into the rock, then sliding down in a knocked out position. Raven landed and ended up in her normal form again. The ice melted off of her packmates and they knew everything that happened even while being frozen and shocked, Raven shook her head and hauled Katie in between her front paws.

"Both of you! Get your wounds checked by me now!" Goldenglow pushed them over to him while Katie dangled from Raven's jaws.
