Chapter 11

Snowy's patrol came back with plenty of prey to fill all of the wolves up before the next quest.
"Thank you!" Goldenglow shared a piglet with Katie.
Raven padded over to her mate and shared a calf with him, Lupo was eating a sheep with Luke and Twinkle.
"Are we done?" Raven howled.
"Yes, indeed we are." Snowy replied after scanning the small crowd of wolves. Goldenglow nodded in acknowledgment and clipped his jaws to Katie's scruff. Snowy and Raven lead their packmates out of the den arena and into the mountain path. They were going to the far mountains. She had noticed that it had started to snow. An amused bark climbed Raven's throat, and her mouth opened to release it. Katie barked in return, struggling to get out of Goldenglow's grip and play with Raven in the snow.
"No, we can't nearly lose you again." he warned. Raven licked a few snowflakes falling from the sky and felt the tinge of ice melt on her tongue. It would be a lot colder in the mountains. As her and her packmates kept walking and getting closer to the mountains, the path got rockier and rockier.
"Look!" Twinkle exclaimed.
Raven looked up and saw a large mountain behind the forests they would be going through. They were not too far from it. She felt a wave of pride and admiration for the mountain being on her territory. This is part of my territory, I can go to this mountain anytime I want. The tip of the mountain was covered in snow, and the trees were drenching in snow.

Soon enough, the very few wolves of SkullPack had made it to the mountain. Raven gasped at how big and tall it really was. A snow covered path was made between the stone of the mountain. She walked forward placing each paw carefully as she did. As they were trotting slowly up the path, they noticed how high they were getting and how steep and scary the scene was, yet beautiful.
"Help!" a voice squeaked, with a cry forming.
Raven tossed her head as quickly as possible, ignoring the sharp pain that stung from the aggressive head toss. Twinkle was hanging off of the edge, digging her claws in trying to hang on and haul herself up. The drop if she fell was steep, and the path was narrow. Her claws were slipping as they failed to help herself up. Raven sprinted over with a little jump, only getting knocked over by black fog. Dark Lord!
A massive black he-wolf with blood red eyes were staring into Raven's, making her growl and flinch a tiny bit.
"What do you want Dark Lord?" Snowy snarled. "You already got my father and Thunder on DarkPack's side."
"Flower too." Raven added.
Twinkle was about to fall off, so Raven hauled her up quickly before Dark Lord could do anything.
"I want to ruin the HeavenPack supporters civilization." He lashed his tail angrily, his tail spikes digging into Twinkle's back, hurting her. Blood dripped from her back and fell onto Dark Lord's paw, he licked it with satisfaction. Black fog swerved around the wolves, showing a scene of Flower licking Bloodhound, Dark Lord's son.
"She's mates with Bloodhound?! But she isn't dead!" Lupo gasped.
"I told my son I would kill him if he didn't find a she-wolf. Flower is perfect." Dark Lord laughed evilly.
A vision popped up in Raven's mind of the hunting patrol back near the rocky path with Fenix, Flower, and Katie. Flower was beating Katie almost to death, but Katie healed herself- like Goldenglow figured out, she had some healer wolf blood! Fenix had tried saving her, but they were almost caught by Frostcrow who had gone on a lone hunt. And that's why Fenix was angry and that Katie had a disfunction when healing, Fenix had to find a way to help Raven save the packs for now. But Raven was the main hope! This was her quest.

Raven frowned and leapt up to beat Dark Lord. Black horns popped out of her head and her claws extended and widened.
"Angels deserve to die!" Dark Lord roared.
Raven dug her teeth deeply into his neck, inserting venom and squeezing roughly, causing blood to fill her mouth.
"Raven please be careful!" Goldenglow cried.
Snowy, Lupo, Twinkle, and Luke had come to join her to fight Dark Lord as Goldenglow protected Katie with his life. Dark Lord's black fog was making the wolves wheeze and cough. I will not go to HeavenPack. Raven motivated herself with those screaming words in her mind. A chain grew out of Dark Lord's pad, swerving around Twinkle's neck and choking her. Raven's lungs were screaming for air as the black fog filled them completely, taking over the mountain's thin oxygen. I will die for every wolf if I have to. She dug her sharp canine teeth into the chain, causing it to hit the roof of her mouth and put pressure on her teeth. She felt a severe stinging pain in her back from Dark Lord's powerful dark powers, they were opening up wounds in her neck, all the way down to her back and flaming up. Raven coughed with losing even more air, she wasn't weak, not as weak as other wolves thought, she was underrated. Raven grabbed the chain off of Twinkle's neck, ripping it apart and lashing Dark Lord harshly, poison filled him, his blood red eyes turned as purple as a lilac. He also started coughing and losing oxygen as Raven's smoke filled his lungs and a screeching rattling noise wandered in his chest. He was wheezing. Under her paws, a red flaming ball formed at the speed of light. It curled up in her right pad and shot at Dark Lord's neck, causing a smoky hole in his throat and knocking him to the ground. Raven watched as his body slowly turned into black bloodstained ashes. His body reformed into a sleeping position, he would be going back up to DarkPack, he wasn't dead from the evil afterlife yet, but he did lose that battle.

"R-Raven.. you saved my l-life.." Twinkle muttered weakly to her heroic cousin.
"Anything for you." Raven licked her wounds carefully and gently, snow was falling harshly but the black fog was there so no wolf noticed, little by little it was clearing.
"I'm speechless." Lupo murmured.
"Is everyone okay?" Goldenglow's pupils were saucers, and they were darting from Twinkle to Raven.
"I'm fine." Twinkle assured.
"Same here." Raven rolled in the snow to get the blood from the neck and back wound off of her.
"This mountain path is narrow and due to weather conditions we have to be extra cautious." Luke put in.
"Good job son." Snowy licked Luke's head with a smile.
Twinkle was sitting next to Goldenglow, getting ointment applied to her wounds, as Raven admitted her wounds would heal by themselves, Goldenglow didn't tolerate her denial.
"You're turning into caring Raven." Twinkle laughed, Raven smiled from her cousin's happiness returning again.

Katie was whimpering which caught the attention of Raven.

"You okay?" she asked.

Katie placed her paw in front of her, blood was covering it from a wound from Dark Lord, and ice had frozen it to be more painful.

"Goldenglow, she needs some help with her paw." Raven warmed the ice that was freezing her paw so that it would melt. Her tongue lapped at the snowy crystals, turning from white and silver to red and melting away. Goldenglow wrapped Katie's paw into a lambs ear leaf wrap, and applying some ointment and disinfectant sap. He sighed exhaustedly and picked up Katie in his jaws again.

"With this weather, we need to find shelter right away." Twinkle barked concerned.

"Yeah, it's becoming more of a blizzard than a harsh snowstorm." Lupo added.

Raven nodded, "I see some shelter land up there, not too far away, we can do it, believe in yourselves." She was looking at the cave close to the mountain tip. A vision played in her mind of WolfFang sheltering BreezeClan from the harsh blizzard back at the rocky path and where the other packs live.
