Chapter 1 -where they meet

"But why did you do it !!" I shouted at Kyle ,tears rolling down my cheeks.
" Look babe" he started and I cut him off.
" Do not..call me that!!" I said pointing a finger at him. I was so mad and angry,I could burst.

" I just want you to tell me why you did it Kyle,why?" Now l was sobbing .l could barely talk.

Kyle sighed " Okay if you really want to hear it,fine!" He pinched the bridge of his nose.
"I'm waiting" l said impatiently .
"She was better in bed than you" he couldn't look me in the eye.

"You cheated on me just because she was good in bed " it was more like a statement other than a question.
" Look Maria ,you are not fun,you are just ridged in bed,you are like robot,it's like you don't feel anything!!" He shouted back.

I was stunned by his revelation." Well that's because you never made me feel good!!" I shouted back with so much anger l wanted to rip his head off. Before l did anything l would regret,l ran out of the restaurant like the speed of lightning,crying my heart out.l left him there standing ,l never looked back,l didn't ever want to see the piece is shit again.

l was done.How can he blame me for his infidelity.lm going to run to my apartment and cry my heart out,l was crossing the road when all of a sudden l saw a flashing light and everything went black.

I wake up to the annoying beeping sound that won't stop. Why won't it stop? I try to ignore it but it doesn't seem to stop. Now l don't have any choice but to open my eyes ,even though l don't want to. I blink twice and try to look at my surroundings but the room don't look familiar. I look at my right and it looks like there is some one sitting on the corner.

"Where am l?" My throat hurt,my head hurt,why does it hurt so much?
The figure on the corner shifts and then he lifts up his face,he looks as if he was asleep but who is he? He walks up to my bed quickly .

"You are in the hospital,you got into an accident" he quickly stated.
"What happened..?" I asked ,but l feel myself slipping away. l don't want to. I want to find out what happened.
"You got hit by a...." And the voice fades away.Its the last thing l heard before darkness enveloped me again.

I wake up to the sound of people talking, l can't make out what they are saying.l try to say something but my throat is sore.l opened my eyes slowly but the light is too bright.
"She's awake " someone said.
"Hie" l fully opened my eyes and then right there l looked into the most gorgeous brown eyes l had ever seen.

Those eyes belonged to what looked like a 6 ft 4 inchs guy who had a very broad shoulders that had me wetting my panties. Gosh Maria ! You're such a pervert. I mentally slapped my forehead.
"Umm.."l tried to speak but nothing came out.
"Don't try to speak yet,your throat is dry..just a second" he lifted his finger and disappeared for a quick second.

He came back holding a glass of water.He then helped me adjust on the bed so l could drink the water without choking. I didn't know l was thirsty till my first sip.

"Hey,hey,hey,don't rush it,take small sips" the man said.l obliged but man his voice..he had that vibrating sound that it had that could make any woman beg for him.Or maybe it's just me.
"How are you feeling?" He asked after l finished my water.
"Umm lm feeling okay l guess " l said
" Glad to hear that" he said smiling .Oh my goodness,that smile, oh that smile.

Really?!you don't even know the guy,my subconscious screamed at me . Thats when l realized that l don't know where l am.
"Where am l?and who are you?"l asked ,panic in my voice.

"Hey ,calm down,you are in my house" he simply stated.
"What am l doing in your house?and who are you again?" I was still panicking.Maybe he's a rapist OMG maybe he sells girls!!Come on Maria who would want to sell you,and just look at him.My subconscious said. Huh,you're right he is hot.But focus!!l told myself.

"My name is Trevor Anderson and you are in my home,you got into an accident and l brought you to the hospital." He said.
"Okay but what am l doing in your house"l asked him.

"The doctors said you needed a home environment in order to recover quickly .l didn't know where you lived so l just brought you here."
"Umm but you don't know me"
" yes l know but l found you so you were my responsibility " l thought about what he said for a while but it didn't make any sense.

"Okay but what really happened??" I needed to understand
"What do you remember last "
"Ahhh l went to work that morning and l uhhh " That's when everything came rushing back.

Kyle cheating,me catching them,the breakup.Tears threatened to escape my eyes but l fought them.He was a lying piece of shit and l wasn't going to cry for him.
"I broke up with my boyfriend and l was gonna go to my apartment but then everything else is blank" l told him.

" You got hit by a car" he said and my eyes went wide "really"? I asked
"Yes,some drunk driver probably and he drove off but l saw the whole thing and l took you to the hospital Maria"
" how do you know my name?"
" l searched for your ID and l found it in your purse.
"Okay but when was this..?? I mean the day of the accident?"
" Three weeks ago" he said it as if it was 3 days.

"Three weeks!!!!! l have been missing for three weeks??!!" Oh my gosh l couldn't believe it .
"My job..oh Shit ! I'm gonna get fired" l said mostly to myself panicking.
" Don't worry about anything,everything will be ok" he said .l tried my best not to panic .I took deep breaths and finally l opened my eyes and stared right into those brown eyes.Gosh why were they so brown?

" Ahhh so this is your house?" I asked.I know it's a stupid question but l had to break the tension
"Yes and as a matter of fact,this is your room."
I looked around and it was a big room ,probably bigger than my tiny apartment.Shit!!my apartment!!

"I know you said not to panic but l was due to pay rent like two weeks ago,and probably the landlady already threw all my stuff away by now" l said giving up
"I told you not to worry,everything is taken cared of " he said
"What does that mean?"l asked
" l will tell you everything but first you need to go shower" he made a face when he said it.

I sniffed myself and yeah a shower was long due .l took off the covers and jumped out of the bed and said" where is the shower?"
He pointed at the door
And l thanked him and went in the bathroom.
I closed the door behind me and l thought aloud " what the he'll happened "?
