Ashton walked me hand and hand to his car. "Where are we going Mr. Irwin?" I ask once be gets into the car. "Its a surprise Mrs.America." he says with a smile. I pout causing Ashton to chuckle. "You're still cute when you pout." he says still chuckling. I blush and look down to my lap. He puts his hand on my thigh and rubs little shapes on my thigh. I shiver from his touch.
We pull into a park where other cars are. "We are here." Ashton says pointing at the big screen in front of us. "WE ARE IN A DRIVE-IN MOVIE" I squeal in excitement. He laughs and grabs my hand, intertwining our fingers causing me to smile.
Ashton's P.O.V.
God, she is so beautiful. The movie has started and I take in her beauty. "What?" she whispers looking at me. "You are so beautiful. I have never seen someone so beautiful as you." I answer honestly. She looks down smiling causing me to smile. I pull her chin up to look into my eyes. She pulls over as close as she can and rests her head on my shoulder. I pull her over and sit her on my lap. She lays her head on my chest as our fingers intertwine.
Kyler's P.O.V.
I have never felt so safe and comforted in my life. I love it. I go back to the movie. I still feel him staring but I choose to ignore it.
I sit up and look at him. I look at his lips and then look at his eyes. I lean forward and kiss him. It catches him off guard but he deepens the kiss. His tongue makes an entrance into my mouth. I feel our lips move in sync. I feel so alive. I feel the sparks going through me.
We stop to the sound of knocking on our window. It scared me shitless at first but when we saw who is was, it took us both off guard. It was Luke and Michaela. Ashton opens his door with me still straddling in his lap. "What are you guys doing here?" Ashton asks shocked to see them. "We came here together, I had no clue that you guys would be here." Luke says with a chuckle. "Small world, isn't it?" I say chuckling. "Well we are going to get going. See you guys around." Luke says as Michaela and him walk hand in hand. "THEY ARE SO CUTE ASHTON!!" I scream when he shuts the door. "They have always been so flirty with eachother, I do not understand why they are just now deciding to be together." Ashton says chuckling at my excitement.
The drive home was nice. Ashton told the little things like when his birthday was, and his past. It killed me when he told me he used to be bullied. He felt depressed and then met the guys and then everything was okay to him. I honestly got mad enough and started crying. How could someone be so hateful to someone like Ashton? Ashton calmed me down but I was still pissed off.
I told him about how my parents death and got emotional again. I miss them so much. I try to not cry but I couldn't hold it in. I go on and on asking "why do bad things happen to such good people?" I do not understand.
~*~Next day~*~
I wake up with Ashtons strong arms wrapped around my waist. It is only Sunday, so I just lay here. I think about what ashton told me. Is that why he had a razor? My stomach sinks when I look at his wrists. He has little scars on them. I begin to cry again. I really don't want Ashton to see me like this. "Pull yourself together Kyler." I whisper to myself. I slowly wiggle my way out of Ashton's arms and go to the bathroom.
I look at myself in the mirror and my scar that I have from trying. I begin to cry. I grab a towel and some clothes from the room quietly. I start the shower and continue to cry. I'm on my period and I get really hormonal, I think thats why I'm so emotional. Why would he do something like that to himself though? He is such a great person.
I hear the door open, "Hey babe, are you okay?" I hear Ashton's voice ask in worry. "I'm fine." I say trying to maintain my sobs. "No you're not." I hear him say concerned. I don't reply. "Babe, what is wrong?" he asks. "Im just emotional, Ashton." I say. "Is it your time of month?" Ashton asks. "Uhh, yea." I say embarrassed. "Do you need anything?" He asks. "No, I'm fine." I reply. "Okay, well I will be down stairs if you do." he says as he closes the door.
I smile at how grateful I am to have him. Then it hit me,
He always makes me smile.
