You sighed and rubbed your palms against the side of your jeans. Your frustration started to grow just a bit more.
"Ah, hey Jungkook! What are you doing here?" Taehyung slapped him on his back as a friendly gesture.
"Just taking a walk. I was getting bored just sitting in the dorm all alone." He shrugged and took a glance at you before bringing his eyes away from you.
"Right, and I'm the one full of loneliness." You mumble under your breath.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" Jungkook brought his full attention on you again.
"Nothing!" You put your hands up as defense.
He glared at you and you felt like he knew what you had already said.
"Jungkook, you know Y/N, right?" Taehyung threw his arm around Jungkook's shoulder and pulled him in his side.
"We're classmates, sure." He looked down at the ground and shifted his feet together. Just classmates, you bug the hell out of me, Jungkook! You thought to yourself.
"Isn't she pretty?"
You choked on your saliva. What did he just say?!
"She's alright." Was all that Jungkook responded with. In the corner of your eye, you saw Taehyung nudge him in the back of his ankle. He yelped in pain and fixed himself up, "Right, she's cute."
Your cheeks turned into a light pinkish color.
"Maybe we could all hangout sometime?" Taehyung asked and you nodded.
Would it be a good idea after all?
[The Next Day]
You didn't have school today and you woke up to no alarm. You got out of bed with a huge grin on your face and started to do your morning routine.
After you were finished, Joy started to bombard you with questions.
"What are you doing today? Any dates? Studying? Ooo, what are we getting for breakfast?"
You flopped down on your mini couch and scrolled through your phone, trying your best to ignore all of her questions.
"Y/N? Y/N! Y/N!!!!!" Joy sat down next to you and curled up beside you.
"Hm?" You were looking at the recent news posted on the blog some student posted. You were the type of person to stay in touch with everything and everyone on campus.
"Tell me. As roommates, we should tell each other where our whereabouts are." She nodded.
"What do you think phones are for?" You said jokingly.
"It's not any fun that way." She nudged you and sighed deeply plenty of times to get your attention.
"I'm going to my dad's gathering." You noticed something posted about Jungkook. Him and his "girlfriend". You took a look at the comments and noticed how his fan girls were attacking his girlfriend like she was a hooligan or something.
"Can I come?" Joy asked, interrupting your thoughts.
"No! It's a called a family gathering for a reason!" You jumped off the sofa and decided to get dressed. You wanted to stop by and grab a cup of your favorite vanilla iced coffee!

You sat in your car for a few minutes and started to think about this a little bit. You were starting to regret coming here. Seeing your dad with another woman was kind of heartbreaking to you and you didn't want to make a scene.
A few minutes later after thinking, you jumped out of the car and walked near the gates. Your father was a CEO of a huge marketing company, so that explains the rich fanciness.
The guards let you in and you set the gift you brought on the glass table once you walked inside.
"Sweetheart! There you are!" Your dad came running up to you and pulled you into his embrace. "Hi, dad!"
He wasn't alone. He was with another woman just as you expected.
"Hello, I'm Linda. It's a pleasure to meet you." She held out her hand for you to shake. You shook it briefly. "I'm Y/N and the pleasure is all mine." You let a smile creep up on your lips.
After you and your father caught up on school and other things, he insisted you tried Linda's cheesecake. You couldn't turn him or her down so you just agreed. It was also making you feel sick in your stomach that your father was really with another woman.
You walked over to the dessert table and there stood a guy. You paid it no mind and grabbed a fork, just picking into the cheesecake and stuffing it into your mouth.
You picked your head back up and your father was standing on the staircase, giving an announcement.
"Alright, alright. I wanted to introduce to you that I've decided to work with a company." The audience clapped and you did too. You were proud of your dad. Why wouldn't you be?
"I'm working with the Jeon company this year!" He motioned for the members and or family members to join him on the staircase. There was only one person who stood out.
Jeon Jungkook.
